Nuanced authorization

o OLS supports large financial expenditures for resources, policy setting for circulation, metadata template creation for cataloging, etc.

o Authorization will often be at the resource level, e.g., XMP license header in an electronic book or image. XACML embargo statement in a an electronic dissertation METS package.

Enterprise IdM Replaces Static Patron Files

o Supports user privacy – transaction audit trails
