Din Rail mounted UPS from

J-Schneider GmbH

UPS ON CAPACITOR BASIS „C-TEC“

The DC UPS of the C-TEC 2410 series is equipped with

integrated ultracapacitors for accumulating energy.

During normal operation this capacitor is charged by an

internal charger which is supplied by an external,

regulated DC power supply. If the DC supply is

interrupted, energy of the ultracapacitors is released in a

regulated process (24 V DC ±2%). The load is supplied by

the buffer module until the capacitors are discharged.

The buffering time depends on the state of charge of the

capacitor and discharging current. Multiple modules can

be paralleled for achieving a longer duration of power

requirement.

Key Benefits:

Can operate at 60 Deg C which is not possible with

Batteries.

Recovery time for the Capacitor is very fast.

Ultracapacitors have a life expectancy of over 15

years.

UPS ON Battery BASIS „AKKUTEC“

The battery buffered DC power supply of the series

AKKUTEC is working according the stand-by parallel mode

and ensures in connection with a lead-acid accumulator a

safe continuous DC power supply in case of mains failure.

The back-up time is depending from the state of charge

of the accumulator and of the discharge current.

The power supply has the following features:

Battery charger with I/U-charging characteristics

Battery management by micro-controller

Battery voltage tracking of the charging voltage by

external sensor module (optional)

Power Supply

The UNOTEC 2405N is a switch mode power supply of

the latest generation, which is characterized by its high

efficiency and minimum power loss. It features Power

Boost and Hyper Boost function. The UNOTEC N can be

operated redundantly. Operation in series (2 units max.)

and parallel operation (up to 5 devices) are possible.

Because of modern architecture, it can work in

temperatures up to 60 ° C without load reduction.
