CARTMAN (Centre forAction,Research & Technology for

Man, Animal and Nature) Registered Non- profit making NGO .

Aim – Foster Culture, Philosophy and Spirituality andhelping the needy children on education and training themon various art forms.

Founded by visionary PadmaBhushan National

Professor. N.S. Ramaswamy :

Currently, he is Director of Cartman and Chairman ofIndia Heritage Academy (IHA).

Founding director of IIM Bangalore and prior to this hewas director of NITIE Mumbai.

Has been Consulting-cum Advisor to Airport Authority ofIndia, Ministry of Non-conventional Energy sources,Parliamentary committee on Railways and many more.

Project Utthaan

Production: 5 Audio songs composed byMr Agnel Roman (Hindi Music Director )and 1 Video for a multi lingual song).

Distribution: Sa Re Gama will be ourofficial distributor and CD’s will be launch in

6 cities in all big outlets including MusicWorld, Planet M , Landmark etc.Volunteers across India will also enables

Sales through kiosks and online media.



Beneficiary projects

Provide hygienic food to 300 children bygiving contract to Akshay patra.

Fund 200 children to continue studies ingood Private schools.

Provide Stationery and uniform support for200 children.

Provide bench and chairs to two schools.

Set up a Computer Lab and Library for 2. Build proper toilet for children.

Roles and Responsibilities

Production: Volunteers will be involved in Helping Agnel (Music Director)with Songs Practice, CD Preparation and creating video/documentary(Only Bangalore)

Website Designers: This team’s task will be to Maintain CARTman’s

Website (PHP, HTML) (All Locations)

Content Management Team: Creating presentation, Design Posters (AllLocations)

Marketing Team: Developing a Marketing Strategy (Only Bangalore)

Sales Team: Promotion through Facebook and Twitter (All Locations)

Public Relations &Media: Advertisement through Newspaper, Radiochannels and Partner with local channels (Only Bangalore)

Project Management: Maintaining the wikispace, Ensuring smooth

functioning of entire project, ensuring deadlines is met (All Locations)

Finance Team: Budget Management (Ensuring track of amount spent andamount received through sales) (Only Bangalore)

Legal Team: Ensuring the contracts between vendor and NGO areappropriate (All Locations)
