Ans. Distance Learning refers to teaching and learning

Ans. The program is for 2 years; however we give this facility

to our students wherein they can finish the program any time

between 10 months to 2-years. Generally when you go for a

regular MBA with 16-24 subjects the course structure is

basically divided in 3 major parts. In the first part i.e.1st Year,

you get to revise the graduation studies and the basics of MBA.

In the second part i.e. 2nd Year 1st half, you get to learn your

1st specialization and in the 3rd part, they cover your second

specialization. This particular program that we offer is a single

specialization MBA with 5 other subjects. So in a way what we

are offering you is the 2nd year 2nd half of any regular MBA

program because you already know the first 2 parts through

you experience.

Q.6} I am a working executive. Can I pursue the MBA

Program?

Ans. Yes, the MBA Program can be pursued on a self-study

basis. You can do self-study in your free time, and sit for the

examinations and complete the program. It is designed

completely in a flexible manner to suit the needs of the

working executives.

Q.7} What are the placement prospects for the MBA

graduates?

Ans. Acquiring the MBA qualification will give a sustainable

Q.9} Is the study material supplied by the institute?

Ans. The study material is supplied by the institute without any

additional cost, subject to the receipt of fees as per the payment

schedule.

Q.10} How do students receive their study material? Do

they have to pay extra charges other then the fees paid?

Ans. Study Material is dispatched to the student within 25

working days from the date of admission at the

correspondence address mentioned in the application form.

No extra charges are payable by the student.

Q.11} When are the examinations held?

Ans. The examinations are held four time in the year, please

refer to exam section.

Q.12} What if I fail in any of the subject?

Ans. In such a case, you have to give re-exam for the subject in

which you have failed. Re-examination fees Rs. 500/- per

subject is required to be paid.

Q.13} How relevant will the course be, for the real business

world?

I was having good experience with IIBMS. I have received all course materials at the

time of admission. All the text books had all necessary information and were brief. I

have taken admission at Bangalore but I got very good support from Mumbai office

as well and I do not realize that I was communicating far from my place. Examination

Pattern was really very excellent because it allows working professionals to take

exam whenever they ask for instead of waiting for term. I have never approach

Exam Date Last Date to Enroll For Exam

To apply for examinations student should send filled exam demand form which is available on our website or send a request on

[email protected] before 60 days from particular session. For example, if a student enroll for January session, then he/she should send

exam demand form, two months before the session i.e. between 1st October to 31st October. Students can opt for three hours

classroom examination. The exam will be conducted at IIBMS study centers. In such a case the students will not be allowed to refer

study material in the examination center. The student should indicate the preference for this option at the time of admission in

application form. Case study based question paper is applicable only for home or email option. Support for understanding this option

shall be provided [email protected]

If you fail to send your request on time then you are requested to send your demand form for next session. Kindly make sure that your

exam demand form will not be accepted at any circumstances if you failed to submit on time and to be send only on [email protected]

Once you decide to make an examination request, shall have to confirm the date for examination at least Sixty days in advance from

particular session (Refer the above table), Thus on receiving question papers you shall have to attempt the papers within stipulated

time; making late submission shall be liable to submit Rs. 200/- per day delay charge for a maximum period of eight days.

The examination shall stand cancelled if the answers are not received up to eight extra days time. Subsequently, shall have to apply

for re-examination. The re-examination charge shall be Rs. 500/- per paper and the delay charge of Rs. 1600/- shall also be charged,

(for example re-examination of three subjects fees to be paid will be : 1600+500x3 = 3100). This is to inform you beforehand so that

you avoid late submission of answer sheets.

Submission of handwritten answer sheets is compulsory along with the question papers at office (MUMBAI).

CERTIFICATION :

Results shall be declared within 45 Working days from the submission of answer sheets

Mark sheet & certificate will be issued together within 45 Working days. In case of DMS students, the certification shall be three

parts consisting of Mark Sheet, certificate and appreciation letter in recognition of the project work undertaken successfully as part

of course requirements.
