cps®kanbanMeaning “Visible record” in Japanese, a KANBAN system utilizes a multi-bin system based on barcodes to provide a continuous supply of goods so that production personnel have what they need, when and where they need it. CPS®KANBAN is supported by CPS®ONLINE, Würth’s specially developed software, which allows for proactive program management and continuous bin level monitoring and adjustment. Whether interested in a basic or full service system, CPS®KANBAN will provide a seamless, secure supply of goods.

Würth’s exclusive bin design is the long-awaited solution to storing more material in less space. While traditional KANBAN containers can be difficult to transport, access, and store, the W-KLT® takes care of all three problems.

The W-KLT® features an innovative open-front flap. When opened, the movable flap serves as an indicator that the product is in use. When closed, the bin can be easily stacked and shipped without significant product shift.

cps®onlineCPS®ONLINE is the ideal solution to manage CPS®KANBAN programs by objectives. Our fail-safe alerts provide visibility to all exceptions and make sure that our inventory management program meets the customer’s requirements.

CPS®ONLINE provides access to the foundation of the CPS®KANBAN program, providing a virtual view of each rack and bin as well as an overview of all plants serviced.

Quality inspections and inspection plans are also visible here at one customer dashboard along with other valuable information.

The drill-down functionality provides the possibility of a detailed review of a bin or just a general overview, depending on the requirements of each customer.

Standard reports such as the racer & sleeper report or the target turn comparison reports allow Würth to regularly review and adjust the bin levels for optimum performance.
