Within every chaos that sleeps within me, I feel a pressure great enough to throw one into depression. Yet when I set foot inside of ImagineAbility, my chaos is eased into happiness. This is a feeling I do not feel everyday. Somehow because of the good spirited people within the program, they have started…no they have brought back, an old me. The original me. The one who is always happy and I am glad to have made such good friends here. This is sincere. This place to me, is a place where one who might be full of darkness, whom once enters this temple of welcoming, is brought back into a beer life and a beer world that shows anyone can be happy. I would even say that the care bears would be happy to see a place filled with so much posivity. I would like to thank everyone here, the staff, the parcipants and all of my friends. I would like to thank you all for helping me to be more happy than I was before. Thank you! The Peaceful Hours Jamie Cormack

Hey there guys I have to thank you all so I wrote something for you all and here it is.

Within every chaos that sleeps within me, I feel a pressure

great enough to throw one into depression. Yet when I set foot

inside of ImagineAbility, my chaos is eased into happiness. This is

a feeling I do not feel everyday. Somehow because of the good

spirited people within the program, they have started…no they

have brought back, an old me. The original me. The one who is

always happy and I am glad to have made such good friends here.

This is sincere. This place to me, is a place where one who might

be full of darkness, whom once enters this temple of welcoming,

is brought back into a better life and a better world that shows

anyone can be happy. I would even say that the care bears would

be happy to see a place filled with so much positivity. I would like

to thank everyone here, the staff, the participants and all of my

friends. I would like to thank you all for helping me to be more happy than I was before. Thank you!

There are many new volunteer placements that have either started or will start in the New Year. Cory Hansen is working with me to tell everyone about his recent experience with Supported Employment. Cory worked hard at building his resume and thinking of places he might like to work. We worked together to get him his current placement at Safeway. Cory started volunteering at Safeway 4 weeks ago and has fun every time he goes to work. He bags items and puts them into the customer’s shopping carts. He likes to help customers, and helps them put unwanted items back where they came from. Cory has created many relationships with Safeway staff, and looks forward to doing his job every Thursday. Looking for something to do over the holidays? Home Run Sports Training Centre

If you are looking for something different to do over the holidays come visit us at Home Run Sports Training Centre to hit some balls. Not your typical extracurricular activity…but a great stress reliever. You never know it could be your next calling. Batters up! During Freddie’s work placement he experiences a first…how to get balls off the top of the net 20 feet up. While cleaning, stay clear of the batters, this is dangerous work. Here Freddie wonders how to get the balls out of the hole in the wall? We will leave that for Jon this week.

Freddie is presented with 2 tickets by Erin on the left, (Intern from U of M Recreational Management), and Executive Director, Jon Ali, tickets are for the Home Run Sports Training Centre Alumni Banquet at the Winter Club in January, as a gift for his efforts. He has the option of taking Kim or Brandy…Hmmm. No contest, Brandy wins! Home Run Training Centre, 905 King Edward Street, 204-228-4352
