Since 40 Days for Life is cancelled this year and we will not be praying together in person at the Louisville abortion center, parishioners will instead be taking one-hour shifts in Eucharistic Adoration in our chapel on Saturday, October 10, from 5 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please sign up at

https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c44aba82dabfb6-dayofadoration

or contact Angie Christensen, 812-455-9328, or [email protected] to sign up for a one-hour shift. Please consider making a sacrifice of your time and prayer for the unborn, their parents, and our country. Kayla: This is week 8. The tip of Kayla’s nose is showing. Digital rays, which become fingers are notched. Toe rays are also present on the feet. She is about 0.8 inch. Please keep Kayla in your prayers with this simple prayer of Archbishop Fulton J Sheen: “Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.”

Gifts to the Catholic Services Appeal invest in the future of our Church by promoting vocations and lay

ministry development. For instance, this year the Archdiocese is supporting 15-17 seminarians in their formation for the priesthood. For information on the work of the Archdiocese of Louisville, visit: www.ArchLou.org/CSA. While you’re there, be sure to check out Archbishop Kurtz’s video!

Holy Hour Wednesdays Beginning this Wednesday, October 7, we will have a Holy Hour which will include Confession, the Rosary, Adoration, and Benediction. The time is from 7-8 p.m. in the church. We hope to make this a weekly opportunity to be able

to thank God for blessings we have received and to pray for our own intentions and the needs of our parish family, our community and the world. (For this hour, Eucharistic Adoration will be moved from the chapel into the church.)
