BATISMO DO SENHOR

Celebramos hoje, a festa do Batismo do Senhor.

Christmas Wishes to IC friends and Parishioners

Despite your state of life, your work, your situation or circumstances surrounding your lifeJonly do one thing: Love! Love transforms little pieces of the earth that were entrusted to you in the environment of justice and peace. Be aware that the other is in front of you, that his poverty is the price she/he pays for your riches, that your fill is her/his hunger. We are called to draw, from our small world, relationships of peace, light, transparency, justice. It’s the only way to change this world inclined to evil, war, and destruction. You will therefore become God’s witness in this world, you will be this God among women and men. God will take shape in each one of us, He will again be present, a new, all over. We will lend him our faces, allowing Him to be born among us. That will not be a simple souvenir of a passed event, but joy and celebration for a renewed world. I wish merry Christmas and happy New Year 2016 to Fr. Marc, Parishioners and to all our Marlborough friends who have contributed to support Fr Godfrey’s Well Project and Mission during this ending year. Your generous support enabled us to drill two good permanent wells providing clean water for thousands of people entrusted to our care. We may not be able to measure the real value of your precious contribution and how it changes the lives of many people around us. However, one thing that is sure is that there will be a significant reduction of water related diseases among the people that we serve. Danger, time spent and distance walked in search of water has also been reduced thus providing joy and relieve to many women and children. These children can now spend more time at school. We are very grateful to God and to you for having enabled us to realize this work. We now look forward to the coming New Year with a lot of enthusiasm and hope. God bless you,

Fr Godfrey, Christmas, 2015
