LINER RETENTIONSYSTEMFrame and apron linersare drilled and tappedand use standard hexhead cap screws and lockwashers. Bolted designstays tight longer as the liner wears. Liners are a premium,abrasion-resistant material. A monoblock curtain liner isalso available.

HAMMER LOCKING SYSTEMThe force of the jacking assemblycauses all the hammers and backingbeams to act as a solid mass whenstruck. This rigid, machined fitenables the use of more wearresistant, higher chrome hammersand yields more production beforeturning or replacing hammers.

HAMMER EFFICIENCYHammers are rectangular in shape with four wear edges.This shape will provide the most even production andproduct gradation. With proper usage of thefour flips (three flips for the 5860LP),the machine utilizes the maximumamount of the hammer weight,thus giving efficient utilizationof this wear component.
