NATURE OF PROJECTConstruction of a cooling tower in the new Impala Platinum plant. dura.®rep FR is a polymer modified fibre-reinforced, cement based mortar which is chloride free, ready-to-use, non-shrink and of a single component. dura.®rep FR offers good bonding to concrete and is ideal for potable water retaining structures, water cooling towers and harbour warf repairs. dura.®rep FC is a one component, polymer modified cementitious blend, which only requires the addition of a minimal amount of clean water. dura.®rep FC is used as a thin film coating to concrete and masonry surfaces

which are not trafficked. It can be applied from feather edge to 3 mm in thickness for applications such as: fairing of concrete or masonry surfaces to receive protective or decorative coatings. Ideal for use as a scraper coat and filling minor indentations and filing blowholes.
