Important Dates for May Library: We will visit the school library on May 5, 13, and 23. Please make sure that your child returns both of his/her books before these dates so that 2 new books may be signed out! Who Do You Tell? Program: Who Do You Tell? educators will be coming into our classroom on May 5, 6, 14, 21, and 30. A note about the information covered will be sent home after each session. Thursday, May 8: Right to Play Day (2:00-3:30 pm) Monday, May 12: Chick Day! Our class will be watching and investigating chicken eggs as they hatch! Our eggs will be arriving on Monday morning. Thursday, May 15: Calgary Zoo Field Trip We will be going on a field trip to the Calgary Zoo! We will be leaving St. Bede at 9:00 am, so students will be let in 5 minutes prior to the bell. Please make sure that your child brings a health snack and lunch, water bottle, hat, and sunscreen, and that he/she dresses in weather-appropriate clothing (including good walking shoes). Please complete the volunteer form on the back of your child’s permission slip if you are able to join us! Friday, May 16: NO SCHOOL (Teacher PD Day) Monday, May 19: NO SCHOOL (Victoria Day) Friday, May 23: Mass All students will be attending Mass at Ascension Parish at 10:00 am.
