    G. National Service Training Program

    (NSTP)

    Under the NSTP Act of 2001 starting AY 2002-2003

    all freshmen, male or female, must take 6 units of any

    of the following:

    Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) Literacy Training Service (LTS) Reserved Officers Training Program

    (ROTC)/Military Science

    H. Enrollment Privileges The following are granted enrollment privileges upon submission of

    required documents.

    Dependents of UP faculty and personnel (submit HRDO approved

    Application to Study at Reduced Fees)

    Barangay/ Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Officials (Certification

    from DILG or Municipal/ City Mayor regarding incumbency, place

    of residence must be near or within the University)

    I. Deferment of Enrollment

    NOTE:DEFERMENT IS

    ALLOWED FOR ONLY

    ONE(1) YEAR.

    NEW FRESHMEN WHO WILL NOT ENROLL THIS FIRST

    SEMESTER AY 2013- 2014 WILL HAVE TO WRITE A

    LETTER OF DEFERMENT ADDRESSED TO THE

    UNIVERSITY REGISTRAR OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE

    PHILIPPINES DILIMAN. However, you still need to do the

    following:

    If already qualified to a program, confirm online for reservation of

    your slot or you may submit the reply slip to the Office of the

    University Registrar, University of the Philippines Diliman.

    If still interested in your waitlisted course, confirm online.

    If a DPWS qualifier, confirm online and fill out form for 3 choices

    of program according to your preference for the processing of the

    final course assignment to assure you of a course upon return fromdeferment.
