In the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh ‘In the footsteps of Vincent van Gogh’ offers four new arrangements for

tour operators which explore the life and works of the famous painter that

were not available in these forms before. All excursions include viewing tours

of both famous and lesser-known works by Van Gogh, as well as walks in

locations in Brabant where he lived and worked and found his inspiration.

Each arrangement consists of components that can also be booked separately,

but only the combination of the components provide the ultimate experience

of the world’s most famous artist!

Excursion to the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo, owner of the second largest collection of Vincent van Gogh works in the world. A visit to the Kröller-Müller is a unique experience in every way. The museum lies at the heart of National Park De Hoge Veluwe, surrounded by the largest statue garden in West Europe and displays works of the world’s most famous artists.

Kröller-Müller – Vincent’s Homeland Day TourAmsterdam – Ede (Otterlo) – Nuenen – Amsterdam | Length of excursion: 7 hours

An excursion to the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo and the Vincentre in Nuenen. After visiting the Kröller-Müller, you will travel to the Museum Vincentre in Brabant, where Vincent van Gogh lived and worked from 1883 to 1885. Nuenen is a true open-air museum. Here, Van Gogh painted a quarter of all his works over a period of two years: 500 drawings and paintings. Inspired by nature and the simple man, his experiments eventually resulted in his masterpiece The Potato Eaters. This excursion comprises no fewer than 21 buildings and locations that show how Van Gogh lived and worked here.

This excursion begins with a multimedia tour in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, where the largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world can be admired. Next, the tour leads to Zundert, the birthplace of Vincent Van Gogh, where you will visit the Van Gogh House. This day tour includes a tour of the village, visiting locations where the artist spent his first years. In Zundert, the atmosphere of Vincent’s birthplace can still be seen and felt. The excursion ends at the Vincentre in Nuenen, the village where Van Gogh lived and worked from 1883 to 1885.
