    Hesaidthatifthe20thcenturysawIndia'sforemosttechnicalinstitutestheIITsmakeanameforthemselvesglobally,the21stcenturyrequiredthatIndia'sITIs(IndustrialTrainingInstitutes),acquireglobalrecognitionforproducingqualityskilledmanpower.ThePMsaidIndiacanbecometheworld'slargestproviderofskilledworkforcefortheworld.

    FinanceministerArunJaitleysaidthemanufacturingsectorwasrevivingthankstothe`MakeinIndia'initiative.HecalledforconvertingIndia'shugemanpowerintoaresource.RajivPratapRudy,ministerofstateforskillsdevelopmentandentrepreneurship,saidthegovernmentwouldbringalegislationinParliamenttosetupskilluniversitiesineachstatetocreatealargepoolofskilledworkers.
