How to manually trigger Google's in-depth section? Just add&tbs=ida:1&gl=usto a Google search URL and you'll see a list of 10 in-depth articles from sites like Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Wired, New Yorker, Slate and more. 3

Find In Depth Articles News Archive - Via Search ToolsGoogle has brought back the ability to search the Google News Archive, dating back to news stories in 2003.

In August 2011, Google removed the Google News Archive home page and then during redesigns, the ability to search the archive was dropped as well.
