Magazine Genre

My magazine will be in the Indie/alternative genre. This is because it’s a popular genre for the target audience who would buy music magazines and appeals to a wider range of people due to the large amount of new indie bands that are up and coming. I will take influence from magazines such as NME, Q, and Rolling Stone.

Target Audience

The age demographic for my magazine will be from the ages of 16 – 28 as this is the age range that people would most likely buy an indie/alternative magazine.
