DECA’s Innovations and Entrepreneurship Conference is the springboard for DECA members to unleash their ideas. Designed for those DECA members with an entrepreneurial spirit, this conference will empower members to consider life as a entrepreneur through a blend of modules and a pitch competition.
This year’s Innovations and Entrepreneurship Conference will use the lean methodology as the basis for the conference, making a perfect tie in to DECA’s Entrepreneurship Events. During the conference, members progress through a series of modules in a learning-by-doing environment that include ideation, team formation, customer discovery, rapid prototyping and pitch workshops. In addition, members will learn from entrepreneurs through short, yet powerful presentations.
The conference will serve as DECA’s grand finale of its celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week, but the entrepreneurial spirit will live on within attendees once they return to their communities.
