How to Update Inverters
using REFUset configuration tool
Download REFUset and Firmware from our Site
REFU Elektronik GmbH - Firmware Update 2
Visit our Site: www.refu-sol.com and go to our Download area:
http://refu-sol.com/en/photovoltaic-inverter/downloads/
Download REFUset Tool and the latest Firmware version:
Save both of the “zip” files on your PC
Open the REFUset “zip” file and extract the
installation “exe” file on your PC
Open the RFP “zip” file and extract the .rfwps file on
your PC
Run the REFUset “exe” file and follow the instructions
in order to install it on your PC
Run the Program

Double click on the Desktop icon to
launch REFUset.
The connection window opens
Select the IP Address of the Inverter
that you want to connect to
Click “Ok” icon
Note: PC and Inverter must be on thesame Network

From Menu Bar:
Go to Extras
Click on Firmware Update
Select the Firmware Package

On the new window click on “Browse…”

Navigate to the location that you have
saved the Firmware Package (.rfwps) that
you downloaded and unzipped earlier and
select it
(example RFP_300-01-07-12-S.rfwps)
Click “Open”

Click on “Update” icon

Make sure that you will not update the
Inverter shortly before sunset!
Click on “Update” icon again

Status of Display while Updating
Note:
During the Update Procedure, the Display and the LED’s of the
Inverter will go “On” and “Off” and change status various times.
Do not switch off the device!

Click on “OK” icon
