31. Integumentary System.• Components= skin, hair, nails, and sweat glands. The function of this system is that it covers and protects the body.2. Skeletal System.• Components= bones, cartilage and ligaments. This system supports and protects the body; muscles attached to bones; provides calcium storage; site of blood cell formation.3. Muscular System.• Components= skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, and smooth muscle. This system moves parts of the skeleton, locomotion; pumps blood; aids movement of internal materials.

4. Nervous System• Components= nerves and sense of organs, brain and spinal cord. This system receives stimuli from external and internal environments, conducts impulses and integrates activities of other systems. 5. Endocrine System • Components= Pituitary gland, adrenal gland, thyroid gland, hypothalamus glad,

pineal gland, kidney, pancreas, ovaries, testes, and other ductless glands.• This system regulates body chemistry and many body functions.6. Circulatory System• Components= Heart, blood vessels, blood; lymph and lymph structures. This system transports materials from one part of the body to another, and defends body against disease.

7. Respiratory System• Components= Lungs and air passageways. This system exchanges gases between the blood and external environment. 8. Digestive System• Components= mouth, esophagus, intestines, liver, and pancreas. This system ingests and digests foods, and absorbs them into the blood.9. Urinary System• Components= Kidney, bladder, and associated ductsThis system excretes metabolic wastes, and removes substances present in excess from the blood.
