Why IB?
• Students:- learn how to learn- ask challenging questions- become independent self-motivated learners- develop the ability to communicate with and understand people from other countries and cultures- experience a program that is more than a collection of facts
• IB is recognized by top universities in the United States and world-wide
University recognition of the IB Diploma - by universities some of our students attend
• The Ohio State University- OSU will grant individual course credit and/or advanced placement for higher level IB work with scores of 4 or better.
• Miami University - Ohio- Chemistry (score of 5 or better) = up to 10 credit hours- English (score of 6 or 7) = up to 6 credit hours- History (score of 5 or better) = up to 3 credit hours
• Ohio University- OU will grant individual course credit and/or advanced placement for higher level IB work with scores of 5 or better.
• Columbia University- Columbia accepts International Baccalaureate (IB) HL scores of 6 or 7 for transfer credit up to a maximum of 16 credits.
