apart from being internship candidate, they are also a

representative of the university who is delivering FHT and PSU

integrity and reputations to the society. Thus, they must behave

themselves in order to uphold PSU standards.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดทวไป Common Internship rules1. นกศกษาจะตองปฏบตตนตามระเบยบและขอบงคบตางๆ ของสถานฝกปฏบตงานอยางเครงครดStudents must strictly follow rules and regulations of internship sites.2. นกศกษาจะตองปฏบตตนตามระเบยบและขอบงคบของทางคณะฯ และมหาวทยาลยอยางเครงครดStudents must strictly follow rules and regulations of FHT and PSU.3. นกศกษาตองเขารวมกจกรรมเตรยมความพรอมกอนการฝกปฏบตงานตามทคณะกรรมการฯ กำาหนดไว หากนกศกษาไมเขารวมกจกรรมดงกลาว นกศกษาจะไมไดรบการประเมนผลในสวนนซงคะแนนดงกลาวจะเปนสวนหนงของผลการเรยนรายวชาฝกปฏบตงานStudents must participate in Internship Preparation Courses (or IPC) conducted by internship committee. If students fail to participate, they will lose some marks of IPC evaluation which will affect overall marks of their internship subject (s).

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดทวไป Common Internship rules4. นกศกษาตองเขารวมกจกรรมการปฐมนเทศการฝกปฏบตงาน หากไมเขารวม คณะกรรมการฯ จะตดสทธการฝกปฏบตงานเวนแตไดมการแจงและอนญาตจากคณะกรรมการฯ แลวAll students must participate in internship orientation sessions. Internship committee reserved the right to cancel their internship applications for that trimester for students who fail to participate. In any circumstance when a student is unable to attend the orientation sessions, the student must inform and obtain permission from the committee in advance in order to amend the participation as well as to maintain the status of internship.5. นกศกษาไมสามารถใชสทธลาหยดตางๆ ในสปดาหสดทายของการฝกปฏบตงานได เวนแตไดรบอนญาตจากคณะกรรมการฯ สำาหรบวนหยดนกขตฤกษ และวนหยดประจำาปใหขนอยกบนโยบายของสถานฝกปฏบตงานนน ๆAll students cannot take any leaves during the final week of internship period without obtaining permissions from internship committee in advance. All students must follow the policies of internship sites for public holidays and any other types of holidays.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดทวไป Common Internship rules6. หามนกศกษาใชโทรศพทมอถอ หรอ iPad ระหวางฝกปฏบตงานเวนแตไดรบอนญาตจากหวหนางานAll students are not allowed to use their cell phones and other computerized gadgets such as iPad while they are at work, excepting obtaining permissions from their immediate supervisors.7. นกศกษาตองแจงขอมลการฝกปฏบตงานใหผปกครองทราบทกครงทเขารบการฝกปฏบตงานStudents must inform their parents (biological or adoptive) all information regarding their internships.

3. Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดสถานประกอบการ Rules of choosing internship sites

1. นกศกษาตองเลอกสถานประกอบการเพอเขารบการฝกปฏบตงานภายในระยะเวลาทคณะกรรมการฯ กำาหนดไวStudents must complete their internship site-choosing process before the deadline assigned by the internship committee.2. การยนขอเอกสารจากคณะฯ เพอประกอบการสมครเขารบการฝกปฏบตงาน นกศกษาจะตองยนขอลวงหนาอยางนอย 3 วนทาการStudents must submit “a request for internship documents required for internship applications” at least three days prior to their internship applications with internship sites.3. นกศกษาทไดรบการตอบรบจากสถานประกอบการแลวนกศกษาไมสามารถเปลยนแปลงสถานประกอบการใหมไดเวนแตสถานประกอบการแจงยกเลกการรบนกศกษาหรอนกศกษาไดรบอนญาตจากคณะกรรมการฯAny student has been accepted by the internship site is prohibited to make further site changes, with the exception of cancellation by the site or obtaining permission from the internship committee.


4. ระหวางการฝกปฏบตงานนกศกษาไมสามารถขอเปลยนแปลงสถานประกอบการได เวนแตนกศกษาไดรบอนญาตจากคณะกรรมการฯDuring the internship, students are not allowed to change their internship site, with the exception of obtaining permission from internship committee. 5. นกศกษาตองการลากจหรอลาพกผอนใหแจงหวหนางานและฝายฝกอบรม ลวงหนาStudents must notify their immediate supervisors and human resources departments before taking official leave(s) or annual leave(s).6. นกศกษาตองการลาปวยใหแจงหวหนางานหรอฝายฝกอบรมทราบและเขยนใบลาปวยพรอมใบรบรองแพทยสงสถานประกอบการทนททกลบมาปฏบตงาน หรอใหนกศกษาปฏบตตามกฎระเบยบการลาหยดของสถานประกอบการอยางเครงครดAll students taking sick leave(s) must notify their immediate supervisors or training departments and are required to submit the sick leave-forms along with a medical certificate right upon returns to duty. All students must strictly follow rules and regulations of internship sites on taking sick leave(s).


7. หากนกศกษาประสบอบตเหตหรอมเหตอนทำาใหไมสามารถฝกปฏบตงานตอได นกศกษาตองแจงใหคณะกรรมการฯ ทราบโดยทนทIn case of accidents or any circumstances affecting students’ inabilities to continue their internships, students must notify the internship committee instantly.8. กรณนกศกษามขอสงสยเกยวกบการฝกปฏบตงาน ใหนกศกษาตดตอคณะกรรมการฯ ผานชองทางตางๆ เชน โทรศพท e-mail หรอ social network (FHT internship facebook)Any student has further inquiries regarding their internship may contact the internship committee via telephone, email and FHT internship Facebook.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการลงทะเบยน Internship Registration1. นกศกษาตองลงทะเบยนผานระบบ student information system (SIS) ใหถกตองตามรหสวชาStudents must register their internship courses and ensure the accurate subject codes through Student Information System (SIS).2. นกศกษาตองลงทะเบยนและชำาระเงนคาธรรมเนยมการศกษาตามระยะเวลาทกำาหนดไว หากนกศกษาไมลงทะเบยนเรยนแตเขารบการฝกปฏบตงานจนครบตามกำาหนด คณะกรรมการฯ จะไมพจารณาผลการเรยน และถอวาการฝกปฏบตงานเปนโมฆะStudents must register and pay tuition fee for their internship courses within the registration schedule of each trimester announced by PSU registration office. If students fail to do so, their internships will be automatically cancelled even though they already completed required internship hours. Internship committee will not consider any assessment for these students and will declare their invalidity of internships.

3. Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดระยะเวลาและการนบชวโมงฝกงาน Internship period and internship hours-calculation

1. คณะฯ จะนบชวโมงการฝกปฏบตงานใหนกศกษาโดยรวมชวโมงพกระหวางวน และจะนบชวโมงฝกงานสงสดตอวนไมเกนวนละ 12 ชวโมง Working hours per day including meal break time assigned by the internship site are qualified as internship hours. Students are yet prohibited to perform more than 12 working hours per day. 2. ระยะเวลาการฝกปฏบตงานใหเรมตนและสนสดตามระยะเวลาททางคณะกรรมการฯ ไดตกลงกบสถานฝกปฏบตงานนน ๆ ไว เทานน หามนกศกษายตการฝกปฏบตงานกอนวนทคณะฯ กำาหนดไว แมวาจำานวนชวโมงการฝกปฏบตงานจะครบตามทกำาหนดไวแลว Starting date and ending date of an internship period must be based on the agreement between internship committee and the internship site. No student is allowed to end the internship early before the ending date agreed upon. No exception will be granted even though student already completes the internship hours required by Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism.

3. กรณทนกศกษามจำานวนชวโมงการฝกปฏบตงานไมครบตามทคณะฯ กำาหนดไวและตองการขยายระยะเวลาการฝกปฏบตงานนกศกษาจะตองตดตอคณะฯ เพอจดทำาเอกสารแจงไปยงสถานประกอบการ In case that student needs to extend the internship periods to fulfil the internship hours mandated by the faculty, the student must notify an internship office to precede the request of internship extension to the internship site.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการนเทศนกศกษา Internship Visit1. ในกรณทอาจารยไปนเทศการฝกปฏบตงาน นกศกษาตองอยรอพบอาจารยทกครงและนกศกษาจะตองใหอาจารยลงลายมอชอในสมดบนทกหรอเอกสารการนเทศทกครง มฉะนน นกศกษาจะไมไดรบคะแนนการประเมนผลในสวนของการนเทศ Student must arrange to meet the visiting lecturer(s) and ensure that the visiting lecturer(s) signs the internship diary or on their internship-visit forms. Failing to obtain signature(s) will lead to losing marks for the internship visit. 2. กรณนกศกษาทฝกปฏบตงานในตางประเทศ หากอาจารยไมสามารถเดนทางไปนเทศได คณะกรรมการฯ จะตดตอนกศกษาหรอหวหนางานโดยการใชโทรศพท หรอ Skype หรอ E-mail แทน In the case of any student taking internship overseas where the lecturer(s) will be unable to visit the student at the internship site abroad. Internship committee will contact the student and/or the immediate supervisors via telephones, Skype or E-mail.

3. Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการประเมนผล Internship Evaluation1 .กรณทคณะฯ จดใหมการสมมนาประเมนผลหลงการฝกปฏบต

งานในรปแบบตางๆ ทงแบบเดยว หรอ กลม นกศกษาตองเขารวมการสมมนาดงกลาว หากไมเขารวมนกศกษาจะไมไดรบผลการประเมนในสวนน ดงนนการพจารณาประเมนผลการเรยนจะคดจากคะแนนสวนทเหลอเทานน In the case of internship evaluation seminar(s), a student is required to attend and give either individual presentation or group-presentation of the internship experiences. Failing to attend the seminar (s) will lead to the exclusion of the seminar marks. Hence, the course assessment will be given based on other assessments.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการประเมนผล Internship Evaluation2. หลงการฝกปฏบตงานเสรจสน นกศกษาจะตองตดตามเอกสารการประเมนผลจากสถานการฝกปฏบตงาน และสงแบบประเมนผลพรอมเอกสารลงเวลาจากสถานประกอบการหรอคณะฯ ภายในระยะเวลาทกาหนดไว มฉะนนนกศกษาจะไมไดรบคะแนนในสวนของสถานฝกปฏบตงาน After completing the internship, student needs to obtain the internship evaluation documents that are completed by internship site and submits the evaluation documents as well as time-record sheets to the internship office within time frame assigned. Otherwise, the marks given on this part will be removed.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการประเมนผล Internship Evaluation3. หลงจากนกศกษารบทราบผลการประเมนแลวและไมพงพอใจตอผลดงกลาวแตนกศกษาแสดงออกดวยวธการใดๆ ทสงผลกระทบตอภาพลกษณและความสมพนธของสถานประกอบการ คณะฯ และมหาวทยาลย คณะกรรมการฯ จะขอสงวนสทธในการพจารณาทบทวนผลการประเมนและปรบเปลยนผลการประเมนใหเปน EAny student dissatisfies with an internship grade and shows dissatisfaction by any mean that causes the faculty and the internship site damages of image and relationships. Internship committee reserves the right to revise the actual grade to an “E” grade.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการประเมนผล Internship Evaluation4. นกศกษาทไดรบการตอบรบจากสถานประกอบการเปนทเรยบรอยแลวหากนกศกษาไมไปรายงานตวตามวนทกำาหนด โดยไมแจงใหคณะกรรมการฯ ทราบ คณะกรรมการฯ จะขอสงวนสทธในการพจารณาทบทวนผลการประเมนและปรบระดบผลการเรยนใหเปน EAny student who is granted a place of internship but fails to report to the internship site on the assigned day and also to notify an internship committee is classified as misbehavior. The committee reserves the right to issue this student with an “E” grade.5. หากนกศกษายตการฝกปฏบตงานหรอถอนรายวชาการฝกปฏบตงานโดยไมไดรบอนญาตจากคณะกรรมการฯ นกศกษาจะไดรบผลการประเมน เปน E If student discontinues working with the internship site or withdraws the internship registration without obtaining permissions form internship committee, the student will get an “E” grade.

Internship Rules and Regulations (Cont.)• หมวดการประเมนผล Internship Evaluation6. หากคณะกรรมการฯ ไดรบการรองเรยนจากสถานฝกปฏบตงานไมวากรณใดๆ หรอสถานฝกปฏบตงานสงตวนกศกษากลบระหวางการฝกปฏบตงาน และคณะกรรมการฯ สอบสวนแลวพบวานกศกษาประพฤตตนไมเหมาะสมจรง คณะกรรมการฯ จะขอสงวนสทธในการพจารณาทบทวนผลการประเมนและปรบเปลยนผลการประเมนใหเปน E If internship committee receives complaints from internship sites of any kind regarding the misbehavior of student or the notice to ending an internship before the completion and the student found guilty after the investigation, the committee reserves the right to review and issue the student an “E” grade.

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.1 คณธรรม จรยธรรม (Morals and ethics) 4.2 ความร (Knowledge) 4.3 ทกษะทางปญญา (Intellectual-based skills) 4.4 ทกษะความสมพนธระหวางบคคลและความรบผดชอบ (Interpersonal skills and students’ commitment) 4.5ทกษะการวเคราะหเชงตวเลข การสอสาร และการใชเทคโนโลยสารสนเทศ (Numerical-based analyze skill, communication skill and technological skill)

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.1 คณธรรม จรยธรรม (Morals and ethics) 1) มวนย ตรงตอเวลา และซอสตยสจรต Be disciplined, punctual and honest. 2) เคารพกฎ ระเบยบ และขอบงคบตาง ๆ ขององคกรและสงคม รวมทงมความรบผดชอบตอสงคม Be committed to rules, regulations and commands of internship sites and societies, including a commitment towards societies. 3) มความรบผดชอบตอหนาท และมสวนรวมในกจกรรมเพอการพฒนาตนเอง และวชาชพ Be committed to work and participate in activities regarding students’ self- and job-developments. 4) มทศนคตทดตอวชาชพและแสดงออกถงคณธรรมและจรยธรรมในการปฏบตงาน Have positive attitudes towards works and perform works based on moral and ethical basics.

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.2 ความร (Knowledge) 1) มความรในสาขาวชาการจดการการบรการ ทงภาคทฤษฎและภาคปฏบตอยางกวางขวาง เปนระบบ เปนสากล และทนสมยตอสถานการณโลก Have comprehensive knowledge of hospitality (or tourism) management, both in terms of theories and operations. Be systematic in works, internationally oriented and updated about the world’s situations. 2) รและเขาใจหลกการและทฤษฎพนฐานดานการจดการการบรการและการทองเทยวสามารถนำาไปประยกตไดในการวางแผนและแกปญหาในกจกรรมดานการจดการการบรการ Know and understand basic rules and theories of hospitality and tourism management. Also, be able to apply the rules and theories to solve problems of hospitality or tourism management.

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.2 ความร (Knowledge) 3) มความรทเกดจากการบรณาการความรในศาสตรตาง ๆ ทเกยวของ Have applied knowledge gained from students’ integration of related fields of studies. 4) มความร ความเขาใจในการใชเครองมอ อปกรณอน ๆ ทเกยวของกบการปฏบตงานในสาขาอาชพ Have knowledge and understanding of how to use tools and equipment which are necessary for students’ works. 5) สามารถใชความร ความสามารถในสาขาวชา ในการประยกตใช และแกไขปญหาในงานได Be able to apply knowledge gained from subjects that students have learned in classes to solve work-problems occurred during their internships.

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.3 ทกษะทางปญญา (Intellectual-based skills)1) มทกษะในการประมวลความคดอยางเปนระบบ Have a systematic thinking-skill. 2) สามารถศกษา วเคราะหปญหาและเสนอแนวทางการแกไขไดอยางสรางสรรค โดยคำานงถงความรทางทฤษฎทเกยวของ ประสบการณในภาคปฏบต และผลกระทบทตามมาจากการตดสนใจ Be able to assess and analyse problems, and then come up with creative solutions to these problems, with regards to both theoretical and operational experiences and consequences of these solutions.

Qualification of Internship student 4.3 ทกษะทางปญญา (Intellectual-based skills)3) มความสามารถในการวเคราะหสถานการณ และประยกตความร ความเขาใจในแนวคด หลกการ ทฤษฎ และกระบวนการตาง ๆ ไปใชในการแกปญหาไดอยางสรางสรรค โดยเฉพาะสามารถแกปญหาทางการจดการการบรการไดอยางเหมาะสม Be able to analyse problematic situations and apply concepts, rules, theories, and processes to creatively and properly solve all kinds of problems, especially problems of hospitality (or tourism) management. 4) มความสามารถประยกตใชความรภาคทฤษฎ ภาคปฏบต ไปสการฝกงาน/สหกจ และการปฏบตงานจรง ตามสถานการณไดอยางเหมาะสม Be able to properly apply both theoretical and operational knowledge to students’ internships, co-operative works and future careers.

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.4 ทกษะความสมพนธระหวางบคคลและความรบผดชอบ (Interpersonal skills and students’ commitment) 1) ตระหนกในหนาทรบผดชอบของตน และรบผดชอบในการกระทำาของตน Be committed to their works and responsibilities, as well as be responsible for outcomes of what they act. 2) วางตวไดเหมาะสมกบบทบาทหนาทและความรบผดชอบ Behave themselves based on their roles and responsibilities. 3) มความรบผดชอบตองานทไดรบมอบหมาย ทงงานรายบคคลและงานกลม Be responsible for their assignments, both individual and group works. 4) สามารถปรบตวและทำางานรวมกบผอนทงในฐานะผนำาและผตามไดอยางมประสทธภาพ Be able to adjust themselves to efficiently work with other colleagues, both as a leader and as a subordinator.

4. Qualification of Internship student 4.5ทกษะการวเคราะหเชงตวเลข การสอสาร และการใชเทคโนโลยสารสนเทศ (Numerical-based analyze skill, communication skill and technological skill) 1) รจกเลอกและใชเทคโนโลยสารสนเทศเพอจดรปแบบของการนำาเสนอทเหมาะสมสำาหรบเรองและผฟงทแตกตางกนไดอยางมประสทธภาพ Be able to efficiently choose and use information technology to create a presentation that is suited with different groups of audiences.
