` Book of Genesis again, the 22nd chapter, beginning with the 15thverse,andweexpectnowjusttospeakforafewmomentsandstarttheservice.Genesis22,beginningwiththe15thverse.

And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,

And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as thesands which are upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess thegates of hisenemy;

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

2 Whatapromise,becauseofobedience!Obedience iswhatGodwants. It was once said, “Obedience is better than sacrifice.” ToobeytheLordisbetterthananysacrificethatyoucoulddo.3 We’refacingnowagrandtext,tonight, The Patriarch Abraham,whichwascalled“thefatheroftheFaith,”becausethatGodmadehimthepromisetoinherittheearth,andhisSeed.Andit’sthroughAbrahamwe,beingdeadinChrist,becomeAbraham’sSeedandareheirswithHimaccordingtothepromise.4 Now, Abraham was just an ordinary man, wasn’t somethingspecial. God never called him, as far as we have any record, untilhe was seventy-five years old. His wife, which was his half sister,being sixty-five years old at the time, they had probably livedtogether since theywereveryyoung.Andshewasbarren,andhadno children. God called a complete separation, to separate himselffromtherestoftheworld,andfromallofhispeople,andfromallofhiskindred.Therewasaspecialthingforhimtodo.5 AndwhenGodexpectsyou todoa special thing,Hedemandsa complete separation from any doubt. You’ve got to come to fullobedience, toobeywhatHesays.Goddemands it.Youcan’tdo itnootherway.And,now,Healwayssetsanexample,andthatwasHisexample,ofacompleteseparationfromallofhisfamily,allofhiskindreds,andsoforth,towalkalifeseparatedtoGod.

6 Yearspassed,nothinghappened,butstillAbrahamheldon.Hewas not discouraged. “He never staggered at the promises of Godthroughunbelief,butwasstrong,givingpraisetoGod.”7 Yearbyyear,asitwentby,nodoubtmanycriticscomebyandsaid,“Abraham,fatherofnations,howmanychildrendoyouhavenow?” That didn’t stagger him. No child, and Sarah was past thetimeoflife,ofbearingchildren,course,waybeyondmenopause,butstillAbrahambelievedGodjustthesame.Hemadepreparationsforthebaby,becauseheknewandwasfullypersuadedthatGodcouldnotmakeapromisethatHewasn’tbigenoughtobackup.8 HisSeedshouldthinkthesamething.Regardlessofhowunrealit seems, how unnatural it seems to the natural mind, yet GodcannotmakeapromisethatHeisnotbigenoughtotakecareof.Webelievethatsamethingtoday.EverytrueSeedofAbrahambelievesthe same thing. No matter what circumstances in, how muchknowledgewe’veaccumulated,howmanythingshashappened,howunnatural it is to thenaturalmind,howfoolish it is, rather, to thenatural mind, it doesn’t make a bit of difference. If God said so,that’sit.AndtheSeedofAbrahamaresettleduponTHUSSAITHTHELORD.Thatsettlesit.9 We find out, at twenty-five years later, no children. And stillGod was faithful to keep His promise to Abraham, for AbrahambelievedGod.Thelittleboycameonthescene,littleIsaac.10 Thenafter little Isaachadcomeonthescene, thenwefindoutthat God gave him a double test. He said, “This child^” Afterbeing now about a hundred and fifteen years old, or twenty,Abrahamwas.Hesaid,“Iwantyoutotakethis,youronlyson,andtakehimup to themountain that Iwill showyou,and thereofferhimup,on thismountain, fora sacrifice.” Inotherwords,destroyevery evidence that he had that the promise would be fulfilled.That’stakingawayallthenaturalthings.11 AndAbrahamsaid,“Ireceivedhimasonefromthedead.AndI’mfullypersuadedthatHeisabletoraisehimupfromthedead.”12 That’sthepeoplenowtheSeedofAbraham,becauseHeraisedus from the dead. We were dead in sin and trespasses. And HeWho was able to change my mind, change my thoughts, changemynature,changemeallover,HecandoasHepleases.WhateverHe says, I believe it’s the Truth, and every Seed of Abrahambelievesthesamething.13 Abraham,notdisobedient toGod, takenthe littleboy.Andonthismorning,toldtheservants,“Youwaitherewiththemules.AndthesonandIwillgoyondertoworship,andheandIwill return.”

Oh, how is he going to do it? When he goes up to the top of themountain, to take his own son’s life, yet he says, “The child, thelad and I will return.” He knowed that something had to happen.Andhedidn’tknowjusthowGodwasgoingtodoit;thatisn’thisquestion.HeknowsthatGodpromisedit.14 That’s all we care to know, God promised it! How is it goingtobe? I can’t tellyou.ButGodsaid so!Hewill sendJesusChrist,thesecondtime,Hewillcomeinaphysicalform.HewillclaimHisOwn.Therewillbeonethousandyears,millenniumreignuponthisearth,withHim,withtheredeemed.That’swhatHepromised,andwearelookingforthathourtoapproach.15 Hepromisedtohealthesick,toraisethedead,tocastoutdevils.Hepromisedtodo it.He is thesameyesterday, todayandforever.How?Idon’tknow.Hepromisedtodoit!Webelieveit;thatsettlesit.WhenamanbelievesGod,hebelievesallHesays.16 And that’s thewayAbrahambelievedGod.Nowwasasked todestroyeveryevidencethatHispromisewouldbetakencareof,buthewaspersuadedthatGodcoulddoit.17 Now,notonlydidHegive thisgreatpromise,Hegive it tohisSeed, also. And because Abraham was faithful, and kept the_theWordofGodthatGodpromisedhim,andknowedthatGodcouldraiseupthischild.Andhesparednothisownchild;but(God)wasatypeofGodgivingHisSon,ofcourse;ashepackedthewoodupthemountain,andsoforth;asChristlaterpackedHisOwnsacrificeblock,upthehill,towhereHewascrucified.18 Werealize that in this, indoing this, itpleasedGodsowell tosee that Abraham loved Him above everything on earth, even hisonly son. He loved Him above what anybody could say, anybodycoulddo,hestilllovedGodenoughtobelieveHisWord.19 All Abraham’s Seed believes God like that. They are believingGod.AndweknowthatitpleasedGodsowellthathereiswhatHesaid,“ThySeedshallpossessthegatesofitsenemy.ThySeedshallpossess the gates of its enemy.” Remember, that’s THUS SAITHTHELORD.Abraham’sSeedbelievesthat.IfyouaregenuineSeedof Abraham, the faith that Abraham had in God, it’s in you. Andyoubelieve,thatwhatGodhassaid,GodkeepsHispromise.20 And He said it, now remember, He only made this promise toAbrahamafterHehadgivehimatest.TheSeedofAbrahammustfirstbetested,toseeiftheyreallybelievetheWord.Remember,theonlywaythathecouldkeepthepromiseofGod,becausehebelievedthepromiseofGod,andwastestedwhetherhebelievedItornot.

21 We are brought to that test. The Seed of Abraham, today, isbroughttothattest.WillwetakeGod’sWord,orwetakewhatmansaidaboutIt?Willwetakewhatsomeorganizationhasmadeupasacreed,andacceptthat,ordowetakewhatGodsaid?IfGod’sWordistrue,webelieveGod’sWord,regardlessofwhatanythingelseis.Weleteveryman’swordbealie,andGod’sbetheTruth.ThetrueSeedofAbraham!ButbeforeyoucanbecomethattrueSeed,you’vegottogothroughthetest,likeAbrahamdid,himself.HepromisednotonlytoAbraham,buthisSeedwouldpossesstheenemies’gates.Oh,my!22 Just think, the patriarch was fully persuaded in it, in his testof thepromiseof theWordofGod,was right.Regardlessofwhatthe circumstances was, he still believed the Word was right. TheAbraham, the great patriarch, never wavered in faith, when hewas brought to that testing time. He believed that God was ableto raise him up from the dead. He believed it, because God madethe promise. And when God made a promise that he would be“thefatherofnations,”andhebelievedthatthatwasso.Hedidn’tknowhowitwouldbe.Whenthebabycome,afterhehadtrusted,twenty-fiveyears,thenaskedtodestroythebaby,hestillknewthatGod’spromisewastrue,andhegavehisson.23 His Seed, the same thing! The promise of God is the seal, tothosewhoaretheSeedofAbraham.Thepromiseisaseal,asignedwitness.AndwhenwebelieveeverypromisedWord,thenthesealisgiventous,toconfirmthepromiseby.See, ifwe_ifwe,beingtheSeed of Abraham, we go through the test whether we’re going tobelievetheBible,ornot.TheBibleistheWordofGod,becauseItisGod.Andthenafteryou’vewentthroughthetest,tobelieve.24 When some of them says, “The days of miracles is passed.” Ifyouacceptthat,that’scontrarytotheWord.25 Ifyousay,“YoudonotreceivetheHolyGhost,today.Thereisnosuchathing.JustthetwelveapostlesreceivedIt.”26 TheWordsaid,PeterpreachingIton theDayofPentecost,hesaid,“Repent,everyoneofyou,andbebaptizedintheNameofJesusChristfortheremissionofsin,andyoushallreceivethegiftoftheHolyGhost.Forthepromiseisuntoyou,andtoyourchildren,andtothemthat’sfaroff,evenasmanyastheLordourGodshallcall.”27 That’sjustexactlywhatItmeans.It’s,nowifyouarereadytotakethe test,ofGod’sacid test,and followthatprescription, I’mtellingyou,youwillfindoutthatGodkeepsHisWord,ifyou’llbelieveIt.That’sright.Butyou’vegottogothroughthat,becausethat’stheseal;whenyoucanreceiveIt,thenyouwillreceivethepromise.Because,It’sGod’sprescription,thewayweshoulddoit,andthat’stheway

we’vegottofollowIt,justwhatHesaid.Nownotjusttosome,but“whosoever,”whosoeverbelieveth,whosoeverrepenteth,whosoeverbelieveth. It’s to all generations, to all peoples,whosoeverwants tobelieveIt.AndfaithinGod’sWordbringsyoutothispromise.Then,andthenonly,canyouhavepowertopossessthesealofthepromise.28 Andthepromisethatwereceive,theseal, isthebaptismoftheHoly Ghost. That’s right. For that is God in form of Spirit, youbeingHisWordinyou,thenHecomesin.IfyoureceivetheWordinyou,theHolySpiritistheonlythingthatcanmakeThatlive,andthenyouhavethepromiseofpossessingthegateofeveryenemythattriestoattackyou.That’sright.Godpromisedit,andit’sso.29 Now, remember, you can only do it then, and then only, afterbeingtestedbytheWord.30 AbrahamwastestedbytheWord.“Willyoubelieve,Abraham,thatyou’llhavetheson?” “Yes.”31 The son come. “Now destroy him. Do you still believe it,Abraham?”32 “Ibelieveit,yet,forYou’reabletoraisehimupfromthedead.”33 Andafterthat,Hesaid,“Now,yourSeedshallpossessthegateofitsenemy.”Amen!Afterthetestcome!34 Let’scheckuponsomeof theseedofAbraham, in thenaturalseed.Which,webetodaythespiritualSeed.Butlet’sfindout,bythenaturalseed,ofsomeofthemthatbelievedthefullpromiseofGod,andneverque-^[Blankspotontape_Ed.]35 Isaid,“Bytheway,whatdoesaChristiangirlwanttoshowherunderneathskirtfor?Ican’tunderstandthat.”36 You are born again, of God, you got the beauty of the HolyGhost to show that what you are, you are. You’ve got virtue thatthesescandalskirtsdon’thave.That’sright.ArealwomanofGod,thatstandsoutwithvirtue,youmightbelaughedat,andcalledoldfashion;butyougotsomethingthattheycan’ttouch,anddonelostit andnever canhave it again.That’s right.Yougotvirtue.That’swhatGodlooksfor,isvirtue.See?37 Butthefirstthing,ifthere’saquestioninyourmind,don’tyoudo it at all. Don’t you come in a prayer line if there’s a questionin your mind. Don’t you come unless you absolutely believe it,emphatically, there’s not a wave in your mind, at all, but whatyou’re going to be healed, then you’ll go off this platform a wellperson.That’sright,whenthere’snotaquestioninyourmind,atall.YoumustbelieveGod,notmake-believe.Reallybelieve!

38 And the Seed of Abraham believes it because the Word saidso, and that’s the reason we believe it. Not because somebody hascriticized,becausesomebodyelsesaidso.BecauseGodsaidso,thatmakesittheTruth.WhenGodsaysit,thatsettlesallquestions.Heis the lastword.He is theultimate.WhenGodsaysanything, thatsettles it. There is nothing else can speak against It. “Every man’swordbealie,andMinebetheTruth.”39 Nowaswecheck someof these seeds, let’s think.We thinkofthe Hebrew children, I have here, thinking of that, on the Hebrewchildren, after they had been tested against image worship. Now,youremember,thekingsaid,“Whosoeverwillnotbowdowntothisimage,shallbethrowedintothefieryfurnace.”Now,thesechildrenbelieved that God’s Word was right, that they should not worshipany kind of an image, but when they come to the showdown andtheyweretestedwhethertheywould.40 When,alltherestofthechildrendowntherereceivedandwentto the worship, they went right on in the way the king said. Theywentwiththepopularthoughtoftheday,thattheymustdoit.41 And when they were tested, whether they would worshipimages and break the Word of God, they stayed true to theWord. Regardless of the circumstances, they stayed true to theWord.Andwhentheythrowedthemintothefieryfurnace,God’spromise was fulfilled. They possessed the gates of their enemy.And there was a fourth Man standing in there, with a key thatunlocked the heat from the fire, and it could not do nothing butsetthemfree.Amen.42 Whenamanorawomanisreadytotakethetest,theacidtest!43 Yousee,theyhadtogointhefire.Andthenwhentheydid,theywas in the fire, and the only thing that taken place, this fiery testonlyunlocked,tookthe_thebandsoffoftheirhands.44 Many times, God let’s us, when we get all bound up with theworld, bound up, He let’s the fiery tests come upon us, where wehave tomakeadecision.Andwhenwedo that, theonly thing thetest can do, when a real Seed of Abraham is standing at the_thecrossroads of a decision, and he makes his decision to serve God,itcanonlycut thebands looseandmakeus free.Satanmightgiveyouadisease.Hemightgiveyouonething,another.Howyouknowit’snotGodgotyouonthecrossroads,toseewhatkindofa_a_adecisionyou’llmake?45 Theypossessedthegateofthefire.Thefirecouldnotburnthem.Therewasn’tevenasmellof fireuponthem,becausetheyknowed

that they were the Seed of Abraham, and they stood for God andHisWord.Theypossessedthe_thegatesoftheenemy,andthefirecouldnotburnthem,becausetheypossessedthegates.46 Later, therewasaman,aprophetdown there,by thenameofDaniel.Hewould^hadthe testwhetherhewould serveone trueGod,ornot.Andwhenitcometothattime,whetherhewouldserveone true God, or worship a heathen God, he refused to do it; andthrowed up the blinds, and prayed to his God, every day. And hewastookbythat,byapenaltyofthefederallaws,andwasthrowedinto a lions’ den. A hungry bunch of lions roared out after him.Whatdidhedo?Hepossessedthegateofhisenemy.Thelionscouldnot eat him. God sent down a Pillar of Fire, an Angel that stoodbetweenhimandthelion.47 He possessed the gate of the enemy, because he was testedto see whether he would worship one true God, or have a dozenheathen gods that he worshipped. So he stood the test, and hepossessed the gate of the enemy. The lion could not even touchhim,becauseGodwaswithhim.God’spromisestayedtrue,forhewasatrueSeedofAbraham.48 Moses, oh, another great one. He was tested, also, to see thepromise that God give him. “I’ll be with you when you go downthere.” And when he stood before the impersonators of his gift,JannesandJambrestriedtostandupandimpersonatetheverythingthatMoseswascommandedtodo.AndGodhadcalledhim,andheknowed he was the one that was commissioned to do this, and hestoodthereandperformedthemiracleasGodtoldhimtodoit.Andhere stood the impersonators, to do the same thing, but it did notbotherMoses.HestoodtruetotheWordofGod,andhepossessedthegates,amen,oftheenemy,becausehestoodtruetothepromiseofGod,nomatterwhowastryingtoimpersonateit.49 WhatalessonthatistoeveryChristian!Whenyoulookaroundand see a hypocrite, you just remember he’s trying to impersonateagenuinearticle.But,thatonlymeansthereisonewhoisgenuine.StandtruetotheWordofGod!Nomatterwhatcomesorgo,keepHispromise.Yes,DanielstayedtruetotheWordofGod.50 Nomatterhowmanytriedto impersonatehim,andeverythingelse,he stayed true.Andhecome forapurpose, to take Israeloutof Egypt, and to take them into the promised land. And when itcome time for them to go into the promised land, out of Egypt,therestoodtheDeadSeaintheway.Andhepossessedthegatesofthe water, and the gates flew open. And the_the waters fell back,

and Moses took Israel into the wilderness, to the mountain whereGod commissioned him to bring them. Amen. He possessed thegatesoftheenemy.51 His father, Abraham, had had that promise, that his true Seedwouldpossessthegateoftheenemy.Andthegatesofthewaterwasclosed,andhecouldnotgetthrough,andthatwasthepathofduty.Hewassupposedtobringthosechildrentothatmountain.Godtoldhim to.And there stood thegate in theway,andhepossessed thegateoftheenemy.52 Joshua,a little later,when theycome toKadesh-barnea,whichwasthejudgmentseatoftheworldatthattime,thereIsraelmetitsjudgment.WefindJoshuawithCaleb,and twelveothers^or_ortenothers.Oneoutofeachtribewassentovertospyoutthe landtheywerereadytoreceive.53 And when they seen those great giants standing there, ten ofthemfeltsobad,theysaid,“Wecannottakeit.It’stoogreat.Why,lookat theoppositionwegot.”Butwhen theycomeback tobringthereport,theybroughtanevilreport.54 Whywouldtheybringanevilreport,ifGodtoldthem,“Ihavegiveyouthatland;it’syours”?HetoldthemdowninEgypt.“Ihavegiveyouthisland.It’sagoodland.It’sflowingwithmilkandhoney.”55 But when they seen the opposition so great, ten of them comebackandsaid,“Wecan’tdoit.”56 ItwasJoshua,hestilledthepeople,andsaid,“We’remorethanable to possess it. We are more than able!” Because why? He waslookingatthepromise.HewasatrueSeedofAbraham.Regardlessofwhattheoppositionwas,“Wecanpossessthegate,becauseGodpromisedtheland.”Andhepossessedthegate.57 Later on, when he brought the children of Israel down to theriver.Therestood,inthemonthofApril,thegreatriver,swelling.TheJordancomingdownoutofthemountains,andshewasspreadacrosstheplains.Lookedliketheworsetime,intheyear,thathecouldbethere.But,yet,hewasAbraham’sSeed.Heknowedhehadapromise,andhewasinthelineofduty.Godgivehimavision,howtodoit,andhepossessed thegatesof the river.When thegates flewopen,thewaterbackedplumupintothemountains.AndJoshuaandIsraelpossessedthegatesoftheenemy,andcrossedintothepromisedland,becauseGodtoldthemtodoit.TrueSeedofAbraham!58 Brothers and sisters, when he got over there, Jericho was allwalled up, high enough that they could run three chariots acrossthe top.Howcould these Israelitesdo itwithborrowed,pickedup

swords,andeverything,andsticksandstones,howweretheygoingtogointhere?ButhewasstilltheSeedofAbraham.Godgivehima vision, told him how to do it, said, “Sound a trumpet.” Amen.That’sit.“Letoutashout,marchuptowardsthewall,thegateswillfallbeforeyou.”Amen!Hewasa royalSeedofAbraham.HewasGod’s realbeliever.“Thegateswilldropdownbeforeyou.Just letoutashout,andsoundthetrumpet.That’sallyouhavetodo.”Andwhathappened?Thegatesfelldown,andJoshuatookthecity.59 A little later on, we find out that the enemy was routing andgoingon, after that, andevenHe stopped the sun in its tracks.AsI spoke the other morning, on the Paradox, He stopped the sununtilhepossessedthegatesofhisenemy.Amen.Heknowedifthatenemy ever got together again, they were scattered, and the sunwas going down, and Amorites, and the Amalekites, and so forth,was scattered through. If they ever got together again, and cometogether,thenhewouldhaveahardtimeevergettingthemtoroutagain.Andtherewasonlyonethingthatwasholding,thatwastime.AndHestoppedtime.Amen!Amen!There’sonethingkeepinghimfromthepromise,thatwasthesun,natureitselfcrossingover,andHestoppednature.Why?HewasaSeedofAbraham.HebelievedGod’spromise.Hestoppedhim,andpossessedthegates.Yes,sir.60 Thesegreatman,allofthemaregreatman.Butyouknowwhenthey,everyoneofthem,whentheycometothegateofdeath,theyalldied.Everyoneofthemhadtodie.Becausetheyweregreatman,“Theystoppedthe_themouthoflions,andescapedthefire,andtheedgeofthesword,”andsoforth,aswe’retoldinHebrews11.Andtheypossessedthegatesof theenemy,allbutoneenemy,andthatwasdeath.Deathswallowedeveryoneofthemup.61 Then one day, along come the Royal Seed of Abraham, JesusChrist, the Son of God; Abraham’s Seed, by faith. Not throughIsaac,thenaturalseed;theydidtheirpart.ButherecomeOneWhowas not natural born. Here come One that never come by sexualdesire.HerecomeOnebyvirginbirth.TheSonofGod,theSeedofAbraham, what a great Man this was! Other naturals was all bornnatural births. This Man was born a virgin birth. What did He dowhenHecomeonearth?HeconqueredeveryenemythatSatanhad.Heconqueredeverything.62 WhatdidHedo?He setoutandhe conquered sickness.Therecould be no sickness around Him; wherever sickness was, Heconquered it. What did He do after He conquered it? He give usthe keys, amen, saying, “Whatever you bind on earth, I’ll bind itin Heaven.” Oh! Amen! That’s the Royal Seed of Abraham, His

promise. The Holy Ghost in us now, with the keys, holding it tosickness. He conquered sickness. Sickness cannot stand in HisPresence.AndHesaidthatHegaveusthekeystodothesamething,conquersickness.“Whateveryoubindonearth,I’llbindinHeaven.”63 Also,temptation,Hewastemptedineverymannerlikewewas.What did He do? He conquered it. And what did He say to us?“Resistthedevil,andhewillfleefromyou.”Heconqueredsicknessforus.Heconqueredtemptationforus,brokedownthegates;tookthekeyawayfromthetempter,andhanditovertothebeliever,ofAbraham’sSeed,andsaid,“Ifhetemptsyou,resisthim,andhewillfleefromyou.”Oh,my!Resisthim!64 Heconqueredbothdeathandhell.Heroseuponthethirdday,saying, “I have overcome. And because I live, you live also.” Oh,whatapromise!That’s totheSeedofAbraham.Heconqueredthegrave,roseuponthethirdday,forourjustification.WhenHeroseup,Hewasourjustification.Whatdoesthatmakeus?Heconqueredsickness.Heconquereddeath.Heconqueredhell.Heconqueredthegrave.Heconqueredtemptation.Oh!65 “Now we are more than conquerors through Him that lovedus,andgiveHis life for,”being theRoyalSeedofAbraham.Withthe same Spirit of God in us, that was in Him, we are more thanconquerors.Everygatehasbeenconqueredforus.Theonlythingwehavetodoispossessit.It’salreadyconquered.Sicknessisconquered.Death is conquered. Hell is conquered. 108 Youremember,Hetoldme,“Ifyougetthepeopletobelieveyou;andthenbesincerewhenyoupray.”That’sbeenacrossthisnation,backandforth,forfifteenyears,notonetimediditfail.Itcan’tfail.109 God, one thing God can’t do, that’s fail. He’s got to keep HisWord. Ibelieve that. Ibelieve that justaswellas I^morethanIbelieve I’m standinghere,more than Ibelieve I’m in thisbuilding;thiscouldbeamirage,itcouldbeadream.Inmysoul,IknowJesusChristtheSonofGodlives.AndyoubeingaSeedofAbraham,youbeingdeadinChrist,you’reAbraham’sSeed.110 Nowtheygotsomehandkerchiefshere.Greatsuccessisdonebythis, people who believe. And as I pray over these handkerchiefs, touchingthem,IpraythatYou’lldefeateveryenemy.Givethemfaith,toletthemknowthattheenemyisdefeated.115 Andone time, theRedSea,aswe just spokeof,had Israelcutoff from the promise, and they was in the line of duty. And onewriter said, that,“God lookeddownwithangryeyes, through thatPillar of Fire, and the sea got scared and opened up its gates, andtheywentacross.”116 Look down, tonight, through the Blood of Jesus Christ. 118 Nowanyonecomeshereand tellsyou that theyhavepower toheal thesick,don’tyoubelieve it.Thepower isall inChrist.He istheConqueror,notyouandI.WejustacceptwhatHehasdone.Nomanhaspowertosaveortoheal.119 Every man in the world, the price has already been paid. Therequirement has been paid. How was it? “He was wounded forour transgressions, with His stripes we were healed.” Your_yourhealing is paid for. Your salvation is paid for. Have you got thefaith to come, accept it?That’s all. If you’reAbraham’sSeed, youhave. God promised it. There is something in you that says it’sthere,anditis.120 Nowwhat isagift? Isagift togooutandhealpeople?No.Agiftistogetyourselfoutoftheway,soGodcanuseyou.121 NowHepromisedthat,the lastsign,accordingtoJesusChrist,“AsitwasinthedaysofSodom,justbeforeitburned.”Notbeforeother things taken place, the Gospel was preached by Lot, and soforth;notthat.Butjustbeforeitwasburned,Godcamedownintheformofaman,and setwith theelectedChurch,Abrahamandhisgroup,whohadthepromise.122 Now remember, just Abraham’s Seed receives this. “A littlewhileandtheworldseethMenomore,”Jesussaid.“YoushallseeMe,forI’llbewithyou,inyou,totheendoftheworld.”123 ButHepromised,justbeforethatHereturnedagain,“AsitwasinSodom,”lookwhatSodomisgetting;lookwhattheelectChurchis getting, said, “so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man.”Godmanifestedinaformofaman,thatwithHisbackturnedtothetent,toldwhatSarahdidontheinsideofthetent.Everybodyknowthat’stheTruth,raiseyourhands.That’sexactly.NowHepromisedit. 148 Sheleftherwaterpot,ranintothecity,andsaid,“Come,seeaManWhotoldmewhatIdid.Isn’tthistheMessiah?”Theyhadn’thad a prophet for hundreds of years. And here was a Man thatclaimed to be the Messiah, and proved to be a_a prophet, andshowedthesignoftheMessiah.149 Would it make you believe the same thing, if He did the samething, being He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and haspromisedbytheseScripturesthatHewoulddoit?
