Intrade Apparels Limited Intrade Apparel Limited, is a well known respected Company in the garment industry. Its major attributes are quality manufacturing, fashionable styling, prompt delivery and competitive pricing. It is one of the leading 100% export oriented RMG factories in Bangladesh.

It is managed by a highly quali�ed international management team. To ensure that we give our respected clients quality products, our factory occupies 12,000 square feet with high quality machinery from Japan, Germany, Korea and Singapore. The factory is located at Sha�pur, approximately an hour driving distance from Dhaka International Airport, and is equipped with the latest technology in this industry. Our team of highly trained and experienced professionals who run the factory have a proven track record of providing premium quality garments for its clients.

WORK PLACE ENVIRONMENT

SalarySalaries which we call the“living wage” are paidto the sta� and workers as per gazette noti�cationof the government of Bangladesh.

Payment of salary is made regularly and on time each month.

The salary structure consists of basic salary, house rent, medical allowance and gross salary, these areshown separately for each employee on their salary statements.

Overtime is calculated on the basis of "double the basic salary" and payment of overtime ismade regularly on time on the same month.

There is a dedicated Doctor and a Nurse on site to take regular care of the sta�s and if any medicalEmergencies happen.

The factory has provided a Baby Crèche where worker’s newborn babies are taken care of by our trained nurse while mothers are at work.

Casual: all employees enjoy 10 days casual leave in a year with full salary/wages

Sick leave: all workforces are entitled 14 dayssick leave with full salary/wages.

Maternity Leave: female employees are entitled to enjoy 16 weeks (8 weeks before & 8 weeks after delivery provideed six months service has been completed maternity leave.

Leave

Apart from two Festival Bonuses, Attendance Bonus and production bonuses are also given as per the labour law.

Festival leave: 11 days per year regardless of faith.

COMPLIANCE

Intrade Apparels is compliant with all applicable social, ethical, environment and quality sys-tems. Maintaining sustainable health and safety environment in factories is our core and most important task. To achieve this goal we regularly train our manpower with regards to �re safety standard issues and initiating steps to increase �re �ghting capacity. Our management team is working proactively to improve the standards where ever it is possible. We strongly maintain the followings:

• Strong Fire Safety management system following the Standard of Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC) and Department of Fire Service and Civil Defence.

• Our factory is equipped with a highly advanced modern FIRE FITING Technology.

• We have a wide space of Assemble area in case of �re or any other unwanted situations.

• Regular training and implementation of emergency evacuation plans.

• We have used the most expensive wiring which is concealed with the modern systems to ensure safety.

• Our Factory is in the well-structured building and structural design approved by the IMEB and BGMEA certified engineers and by the respective authority.

• We DO NOT employ anyone below the legal minimum age required by the law of the country.

COMPLIANCE

• Employees are to be paid no less than the legal minimum wage as required by the law of the country.• Working hours must not exceed those set out by local legislation and over time must be voluntary.• Maternity leave must be made available to all female employees on completion of six months employment.• Good working conditions must prevail. The provision of adequate pure drinking water, wash room facilities, a canteen and a child care room are available on the factory premises.• Primary medical care must be provided on site.

Our factory is equipped with a brand new British made diesel generator to e n s u r e u n i n t e r r u p t e d power supply for a smooth and con-stant production process. This genera-tor is situated outside of the factory main building.Apart from above, we have a mini power station outside of our factory building. The in-house electricity supply system of our factory is designed by a certified engineer and approved by the concern authority of Bangladesh Government.
