This seminar gives a complete overview of the very complex Initiation process. It greatly benefits

to know about the intricate system of the Kalachakra Tantra and to comprehend the significance

and profound wisdom of Emptiness before receiving the initiation, which H.H. The Dalai Lama

will confer in Bodhgaya, India, 3 days after this seminar, see below.

Throughout the Initiation the subtlest levels of mind and clear light are accessed and utilized to

see reality. This process frees the mind from ignorance, thus bringing liberation from the cycles of

time. It further gives rise to the expressions of emptiness that is enlightened essence, in the form of

the majestic Buddha Kalachakra, who is the sublime embodiment of the union of emptiness and

compassion.

Shri Dharmakirti is an Indian disciple of H.H. The Dalai Lama from whom he has received the

initiations and further instructions in the practice of Highest Secret Mantra. He also had been

inducted into the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa. He is the author of the book “Mahayana Tantra –

an Introduction” and now lives in Kullu Valley in retreat and occasionally teaches.
