INTRODUCTION Leadership is the process through which

leaders exert such influence on other group of members. Also leadership can call as a process which develop ideas and a vision, and drive to the vision through mission living by values that support to the vision and core ideas, influence others to admit them in their own behaviors (to drive to the vision) and making hard decisions in resources.

According to Noel Tichy that has studied many of business leaders , he described that “Leadership is accomplishing something through other people that wouldn't have happened if your weren't there. and in today's world, that's ;less and ;less through command and control, and more and more through changing people's mindsets and hence altering the way they behave. Today, leadership is being able to mobilize ideas and values that energize other people”

WHAT IS HRM?? Human Resource Management (HRM) is

the function within an organization that focuses on the recruitment of, management of, and providing direction for the people who work in an organization.

The HRM department members provide the knowledge, necessary tools, training, administrative services, coaching, legal and management advice, and talent management oversight that the rest of the organization needs for successful operation.

WHAT IS HRM CONT… Meanwhile , HRM for the Hospitality and

Tourism industry takes an integrated look at HRM policies and practices in the tourism and hospitality industries .

Based on the existing HRM theory and practices , it apply it to the tourism and hospitality industries by looking at the specific employment practices of these industries , such as how to manage tour reps or working in the airlines .

HOW TO IMPROVE LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Reflect and identity the skills you need to lead effectively and create your action plan to develop them .

Ask for feedback from work colleagues , line managers , tutors or even what we called your “followers”

Practice make perfect ! Take on responsibility ( work, volunteering, clubs & societies ) and reflect on your performance .

Find a mentor which you can learn from them . Go to leadership and management training .

CONT… Building morale – Morales denotes willing

co – operation of the employment towards their work and getting them into confidence and gaining their trust .

Builds work environment – Management is actually getting things done from people . An efficient work environment will helps workers in sound and stable growth . Therefore , human relations should be kept into mind by a leader .

THE IMPORTANCE OF LEADERSHIP Initiates actions – leader is a person who starts

the work by communicating the policies . Motivation – a leader proves to be playing an

incentive role in the concerns working . Providing guides – a leader not only has to

supervise but also play a guiding role for the subordinates .

Creating confidence - in an organization confidence is an important factor which can be achieved through expressing the work efforts to the subordinates , explaining them clearly their role and giving them guidelines to achieved the goals effectively .

CONCLUSIONS As my conclusion I would say that every

department includes HRM in any organization needs a leader that can lead the subordinates to achieved their goals and objectives towards a better management .
