The porifera are aquatic animals that they can filter water with two little holes that are called osculums.

Page 5: Invertebrates presentation

Cnidaria are invertebrates that present tentacles with stinging cells.

Cnidaria are divided in 2 groups: The jellyfishes and polyps.

Page 6: Invertebrates presentation

They have stinging cells in their tentacles they also have an umbrella form in their bodies

Page 7: Invertebrates presentation

They live in colonies and they present stinging cells. Their body form is like a sack

Page 8: Invertebrates presentation

Annelids are aquatic and land animals. They are divided in 3 groups. The Polychaetes, the Tubifids worms and the Hirudineans.

They can present setae and clitel.

Page 9: Invertebrates presentation

Polychaetes are annelids with setae

Page 10: Invertebrates presentation

Tubifids worms are annelids with clitel and setae

Page 11: Invertebrates presentation

Hirudineans are annelids with clitel

Page 12: Invertebrates presentation

The molluscs have got a soft body and are protected by a shell. They are divided in 3 groups: gastropods, cephalopods and bivalves

Page 13: Invertebrates presentation

The gastrophods have a prominent head and a highly developed shell

Page 14: Invertebrates presentation

The cephalopods have the head and feet highly developed

Page 15: Invertebrates presentation

Bivalves have got two valves

Page 16: Invertebrates presentation

The arthropods are terrestrial and aquatic animals. They are divided in 4 groups: crustaceans, myriapods, arachnids and insects.

Page 17: Invertebrates presentation

Their body is generally divided into three parts: head, thorax and abdomen.

Page 18: Invertebrates presentation

They have two antennae and two jaws and the four maxillary

Page 19: Invertebrates presentation

They are terrestrial arthropods with body divided in two parts: cephalothorax, abdomen

Page 20: Invertebrates presentation

They have three body parts: head, thorax and abdomen. They have three pairs of legs and usually two pairs of wings.

The echinoderms are marine animals and they move slowly through the rocks, sand, etc.

CURIOSITIESThe ants allow other species to survive: fan and remove the soil, spread seeds and eat some, enriching the fertility of

soil which is almost deserted.
