IPIP - the Engineering and Design Institute for Oil Refineries and Petrochemical Plants is a Romanian company with a large range of capabilities and experience in the development of the petroleum, hydrocarbon processing and petrochemical industries as well as of their related fields.

For almost 50 years, not only in Romania but also in the southeast of Europe, IPIP was the only design institute for refineries and petrochemistry, and acquired a high prestige due to the recognized quality of its specialists and achievements.

In October 1999 became a private firm as all its shares was acquired by PETROCONSULT S.R.L, a private company, well recognized in Romania and overseas.

This important change, joints the best features and capabilities of the two companies, allowing them to strive together for excellence and to enforce their permanent efforts for their customers satisfaction.

Tender documents for plant construction

Procurement services

Engineering assistance to construction and start-up

Project Management Services

Training Services

Inspection of installations, fuel stations for volatile

organic compounds (VOC).

IPIP founded as an independent structure IPIP-CERT, with activities in certification of the third party (independent of customer and supplier) for the products in the field of pressure equipment and plant mounting according to applicable regulations and reference national and international standards.

The Technical Divisions constitute an integrated unit, running on a matrix system, which includes specialized engineers, designers and draft persons to support the needs of all running projects.

The Technical Divisions are working exchanging information with each other and in direct cooperation with the Project Management. Specialist engineers are working within an integrated computer software environment (in both 2-D and 3-D Plant Design Systems) with software and hardware support from the Computer Coordinating Compartment.
