Dafna was born in Jerusalem in 1975 and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel. She is a known figure in the Israeli art world as a lecturer, curator and appraiser of art and collectibles.She is also a Wordpress Expert for blog sites, Corporate Sites & Woo Commerce Sites (Active online stores). With many years of experience in Google Analytic, Google Adwords and PPC. Dafna has lectured at academies of visual art and design with years of experience working in advertising and media. Her education started at Technion University studying interior design followed by general design studies with the artist Ilana Goor. She later obtained a diploma in curatorial studies and art appraisals. In the beginning of her career she worked as a graphic designer in various multimedia companies such as Ness Technologies, Casdim International Systems, along with several major advertising agencies in Israel. In 1998 she began teaching at the Avni Institute of Art and as a lecturer in visual communication at Bezalel Academy of Art and at Magen the Religious College of Art and Design. Dafna has authored a number of books for Israeli academic institutes including John Bryce College. She also
developed course curriculum and content in a number of fields including photography, internet, media and graphic design. She was later involved in the marketing of these courses to various technology companies.

You might begin By saying that it is A photographic genre, more precisely a kind of reportage. Street photography is indeed A snapshot of urban life on the street observed in his everyday life And in all its aspects: the irony tragedy unpredictability cruelty and even beauty. The images of this photographic genre are the mirror of society the people who compose it, captured during the life of every day somewhere keen eye for the nuances of the human comedy that is taking place in public spaces. Being a street photographer means being in tune with life, perceive the moods, smells, colors, live it with intensity and then try to represent it only after it has absorbed. Henri Cartier-Bresson, who with his images has contributed to the rise of street photography, said that through the lens to capture the decisive moments of life it is necessary to equate the mind, eye and heart. HUMAN IN GEOMETRY The geometry is very important in photography for the construction of composition, and street photography is no exception. Street Photography is to describe the human condition and the story can come from human figures placed in a geometric context.
JUXTAPOSITION One of the great classic things about street photography is the way two or more curiously complementary elements can find themselves in juxtaposition.
IRONIC If it's true that street photography is capture a moment often we can find things within the scope of their shots that are ironic or funny.
LIFE SHOTS Life and the human condition as they are, and how you can meet in any environment, even at home. Human scenarios, once again, but different by street photographs aesthetic. Only one condition: to met a genuine reality without substantial manipulation by the photographer.
LIGHTS AND SHADOWSThis branch of street photography makes the search for the light and shadows its focal point. Shafts of light and opaque shadows are a mesmerising presence in street photography and exploring those subjects opens up your images to myriad creative
possibilities. The result of this research produces often dramatic and powerful images. HARDCORE STREET PHOTOGRAPHY The hardcore aesthetic would deserve a separate post. The Flickr group Hardcore Street Photography , known for its ruthless rejection of much of the work submitted to it, could represent a good start to know better this subgenre.
EYE CONTACT Another controversial issue. I was talking about this to one of my students. In some photographic manuals tell you to avoid in a candid picture that the person look at you. But sometimes just this can make an image powerful and outstanding.
CANDID PORTRAITS Some people consider this kind not belonging to street photography. But i would remind to these purists that the candid portraits to be defined as such must be spontaneous, unplanned. Many use short lenses, but it is not uncommon for those who are specialized in this kind also use a lens as a 85mm fixed.

Hello Gabi, We are honored to inerview you for our magazine, Please Interduce yourself to our readers, Hello, Its an honored to be interviewd for the Israeli ens Magazine. My name is Gabi (Gavriel) Ben-Avraham. I am 55 years old, and married with three children aged 24, 26 and 19. I work in a software company and live in a quiet neighborhood of Tel Aviv, the city which I grew up in, have never left and is a part of me and my hobby - photography. I enjoy cinema and music, and during the 1980s photographed using film cameras. I then did not touch a camera for 20 years until I received a digital camera as a gift for my birthday from my wife 2 years ago. The rest is history.
Tell us what drew you to street photography? Street photography is my favorite genre. The street is not a studio. Sometimes I stand and wait for things to converge a cyclist, a dancer, a child moving along. They are not aware that they are moving towards a certain object, but I am. Via the camera lens I am constantly looking around me, searching for that decisive moment that will never return, unless I catch it. When pushing the button, I try
to make some sense, restore order to the chaotic scheme of things in the composition. The components 'speak' with each other in a special dialogue, either by color, shape, or light. Capturing the elusive, special moment after which things will never be the same and making it eternal that is my challenge. Forgotten, transparent people in urban surroundings are being granted their moment of
grace. The shadows, fragile outlines, reflections within daily lives that are not noticed in the busy and thick urban landscape and sometimes are even crushed by it these are precious to me.
Looking at your photographs, it seems that Henri Cartier-Bresson was a big influence. Is that a correct assumption?
Indeed. No doubt that his photos influenced me, especially in my B/W photos, from the surrealistic point of view and the special compositions. Nevertheless, I want my photos to have my signature.
Are there any other master photographers who you are taking inspiration from? Are there particular works of theirs
