You can arrive at the terminal by using elevators or moving walkways after you park your vehicle in car park.

You get off the bus in front of the entrance gate. After getting off, you can walk towards to terminal entrance gates.

Ticket control may be performed within the scope of Covid-19 measures. You may have to wait in line in front of the entrance.

Be ready for the first security pass.

Since there are other passengers who will undergo security control along with you, you may have to wait in line a while and there may be some noise.

I explained Very Special Guest Card and Sunflower Badge on the next page. If you are informed, then you can skip to page 7.

• If you are a guest with visually impaired or reduced mobility or you have IGA Very Special Guest Card, you can use “Security Pass Prioritized for Disabled” by showing your card and go forward by waiting in line less.

• You can wear your Sunflower Badge, if any.

• If you have any jacket, coat or belt, take out them and put in a plastic tray.

• Place your metal belongings and electronic items in your bag or on you in a SEPERATE plastic tray.

• Put your luggage and bags on the security tape.

• Undergo walk-through metal detector.

• This device may sound while passing through. Please do not panic. In case the device sounds, the security staff may search you. You can tell the security staff the appropriate way to search you.

• Once you pass through the security control, do not forget to take your belongings.

Let’s complete the check-in process together.

• Find the counters of the airline through which you will make your flight.• You may have to stay in line here a while.• Hand over your large luggage to the staff at this counter.• Take your boarding pass.

If you are sensitive to noise and crowd or you should remove your prosthetic limb, you can use the Special Guest Service points free of charge.

The Special Guest Service points are located in check-in areas marked with letters B and M.

• You can find the detailed information on security pass rules on our website at https://www.asktoist.com/• Keep ready your flight ticket and passport to show the security staff.• If you have any jacket, coat or belt, take out them and put in a plastic tray.• Place your metal belongings and electronic items in your bag or on you in a SEPERATE plastic tray. The security staff may ask you to open your tablet or computer.• If you wear shoes or boots, take them out and place your shoes in the tray with a shoe picture on it and put the tray on the tape.• Undergo walk-through metal detector.• If you are asked to undergo a body scanner, pass through the device and follow the instructions of the security guard.This device may sound while passing through. Please do not panic. In case the device sounds, the security staff may search you. You can tell the security staff the appropriate way to search you.• Once you pass through the security control, do not forget to take your belongings.

If you have a Very Special Guest Card, you can use Very Special Guest Room, benefit from our buggy service which renders services from buggy stop to flight gates for free with your one companion.

Please state to information desk that you want to use this room by showing your very special guest card.

Very Special Guest Room is located at opposite the G6 gate on the domestic route and opposite the B1 gate on the international route. You can learn how to go to this room via the “maps” section on Istanbul Airport mobile application.

• You can wait for your flight in Very Special Guest Room.• You can play with toys in the room, wait for your flight calmly in the sitting areas and watch a cartoon on television.• While in Very Special Guest Room, do not forget to follow your flight.• Make sure you leave the room on time taking into accountthat it may take time to go to the flight gate.

We arrive at the flight gate.

Here you may hear flight announcements.

Other passengers, waiting with you in the waiting area where your flight gate is located, may talk to each other. If there are children and babies among these waiting passengers, they may shout or cry.

• You should show your flight ticket and identity card or passport to the officials while boarding. Be mind to make ready.• When the flight gate is opened, the officials starts to take the passengers inside.• You may have to stay in line here a while.

If your plane is close to the boarding gate, you may have to walk from the narrow corridor called boarding bridge to the plane for boarding. If your plane is at a remote point while passing from the waiting area to the airplane, you may have to take the transfer shuttle.

It is time to board the plane. See you again in your next journey.
