It's Not Just Fun and Games
Tampering with public water systems has serious consequences!
As predicted, the anniversary of 9-11 brought a few threats and alleged acts of vandalism. To help our membership, the
Wisconsin Rural Water Association is joining forces with the other state rural water associations in a campaign to help deter
such acts. Click on the link below for free promotional items that you can personalize with your system's name and distribute or
publicize in your community. in addition, to help communities prepare for such acts rural water also has emergency response
plan templates, vulnerability assessments, and facility inspection forms designed for the different sized communities that are
available at no cost. We also have warning signs available that can be posted at each of your facilities. Either check out the
materials that are available here on the website, or contact our office for more information. The following links are Microsoft
Word documents. To download them, right click on the link and select a "Save As" option.
