At Travelling Yogini, we believe that personal well-being is the foundation for healthy relationships, effective teams and strong communities.

Yoga tours are up close and personal. Its like having a personal relationship with the city you are visiting. Our motto here is Culture, Community, and Connection. In the culture of Asheville, everywhere you go, you see street performers, and people hanging out playing music. There are artists drawing and performing. You are with a group of people who are exploring the city as well on foot. You get to meet people. You kind of get a community on the go. Thats something you dont always get when you travel to a new city. There is nothing better than being a tourist in a town and feeling

like youre NOT a tourist. My mission when I travel in life is to not look like a tourist. With these tours, its like you are being taken in and shown around the city as if you were a local, seeing everything through the eyes of a local.

The mountain spring-fed Lake Jocassee encompassed by the Jocassee Gorges, waterfalls accessible only by boat and some of the best South Carolina trout fishing are all part of the allure of Devils Fork State Park.

The land around 7,500-acre Lake Jocassee remains mostly undeveloped and the only public access point to the lake is through Devils Fork. Four mountain streams and several waterfalls feed into the lake, making it cooler than others and a great South Carolina trout fishing spot. Plus, the unusually clear water of Lake Jocassee is a haven for scuba divers and swimmers. During the spring months, hikers on the two trails are treated to sightings of the endangered Oconee bell wildflower.

The lake was built in 1973 along with Lake Keowee, its sister lake, as part of the Keowee-Toxaway project. The dam on Lake Jocassee, which is 385 feet high, impounds four rivers, and the discharge becomes the Keowee River arm of Lake Keowee. The lake is eight miles long and covers 7,565 acres.

Devils Fork State Park - located just off of SC Highway 11, provides about anything you can think of for a great lake trip. There are several boat ramps, campgrounds, and hiking trails.Devils Fork State park is also the starting point of the famous Foothills Trail.

PIGEON FORGES NEWEST FAMILY FUN attraction offers two wet and slippery attractions, one dry activity, and it plans to add two more adventures later this summer.

It is Outdoor Gravity Park, a new business on the former Zorb site that features the New Zealand iconic OGO adventure and the spinning-in-place Fishpipe.

The OGO is a plastic sphere 11 feet in diameter, with a smaller sphere inside. One, two or three passengers make a Superman-like dive into the inner sphere, get doused with water (thats the slippery part) and then roll down a steep 1,000-foot-long hill. Slip! Slide! Get Wet! No tumbling!

Riders wanting a completely different experience enter a special OGO with harness seating and take a revolving roll down the hill.

The Fishpipe is a totally new attraction a rotating barrel water slide. The barrel is made of plastic and is suspended in a steel frame. Passengers can go solo, duo or trio and Slip! Slide! Get Wet! You will cover more distance than any lateral water slide.

Our site is 17 acres, and we have plenty of room to grow. We plan to add two more attractions this summer. Rest assured that both will feature gravity and fun, says Chris Roberts, an owner and mechanical engineer.

Outdoor Gravity Park is just off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge at Traffic Light #1. More information go online at www.OutdoorGravityPark.com and visit us on Facebook.

Nearly 200 juried artists of the Southern Highland Craft Guild will be selling works of clay, metal, wood, jewelry, fiber, paper, natural materials, leather and mixed media. With styles ranging from traditional to contemporary, the Fairs showcase the rich talent, diversity and craft mastery of Guild members.

The Craft Fairs have a proud tradition and history of excellence by representing the Southern Highland Craft Guild, a non-profit organization formed in 1930. The Fairs began in 1948 as a way to provide a regional market for the mountain craftspeople. Since that time, the Craft Fairs have set the standard for fine craft shows across the country. Each year in July and October craft collectors and gallery owners from across the country come to Asheville to see the show. They are joined by western North Carolina residents who appreciate the quality and history of the show, knowing it is an ideal destination

for shopping and inspiration. Nearly 20,000 visitors to the Fairs each year invest in the regional and local economies while supporting artists working in the Appalachian mountains, and by spending a summer or fall weekend in beautiful Asheville, NC.

In addition to providing a retail market for juried members, the Guild also hosts craft demonstrations during the Fairs. A strong part of the Guilds mission is to educate the public about the history of crafts in this region, various craft techniques, and an appreciation for fine crafts. Visitors have the opportunity to see artists using traditional methods of handmade craft.

Beginning on Friday during each Craft Fair, mountain musicians perform live on the arena stage. Since the first fair in Gatlinburg in 1948, the music of the area has been woven into the fabric of the Craft Fair experience. From old time to bluegrass, this tradition is kept alive today. Mighty Moo FestivalWhen the first Mighty Moo

Festival was held in Cowpens, S.C., in 1977, organizers werent sure how successful the event would be.

According to the towns website, the Cowpens Bicentennial Committee in 1976 decided that the next town festival would be called the Mighty Moo Festival, in honor of former crewmen of the USS Cowpens World War II aircraft carrier. But that first year, more than 1,500 people showed up to honor the USS Cowpens crewmen, and the event has been growing every year since.

Now a 4-day event, the 2015 festival will be held in downtown Cowpens from June 17-20. The event features street dances, great food, a golf tournament, beauty pageant, a baseball game, an arts and crafts sale, and the Mighty Moo Parade.

The festival is a celebration of the towns history and honors veterans and crewmen of the USS Cowpens CVL 25 and the USS Cowpens CG63. You can also check out the history of the town. The Cowpens National Battlefield is 11 miles north of I-85.The en-trance is near the intersection of SC Hwy 11 and Hwy 110. For a complete schedule of events, visit cowpensmightymoo.com
