Don’t travel alone! This process is open any time during the year for adults (or children older than 7) who are interested in becoming Catholic, or for Baptized Catholics who never received their First Communion or Confirmation. Please contact us at: [email protected], or 515-233-3092, or stop in the parish office 8:30AM—4PM on Monday-Thursday, 8:30AM—2:30PM on Friday. We look forward to seeing you soon! Parishioners: Do you know anybody who is thinking about becoming Catholic? Please pray for them, walk with them on their journey, and encourage them to contact us! A great info resource is www.formed.org, code: a12562

FORMATION FOR ALL

MARRIAGE CORNER

“I urge you . . .agree in what you say . . .be united in the same mind and in the same purpose . . .” (1Cor 1:10-11) Moral decisions often involve how we use our time and money. Do I spend too many work hours away from home? Should both of us work outside the home? How many children should we have? Decide prayerfully and together.

All parents seeking baptism for their child are expected to attend a preparation session.

Parents are recommended to attend a session prior to the birth of their child.

Baptism Preparation I for first born child – Next session: Thurs., Feb. 23 at 6:15PM

Baptism Preparation II for second child – Next session: Thurs., March 23 at 7PM

Baptism Preparation III for third/later child – By special arrangement

Please call the parish office at 233-3092 for reservation.

Godparents are also expected to attend. All sessions take place in the St. Louis Room

BAPTISM PREPARATION

Please Remember in Your Prayers:. Kim Michael Frantzen

May the Lord grant peace and consolation to his family in their time of need. May he and all who sleep in Christ, find in God’s presence, light, happiness and peace.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." Hebrews 10:24

The words "one another" or "each other" are used more than 50 times in the New Testament. What this tells us is that God did not create us to be independent. He created us to be interdependent. We are made in His own image - to be loving, caring and forgiving, He created us to need one another. "It is not good that man should be alone" (Genesis 2:18h). Do we recognize the need in those one another's and do we reach out to them? We have received God's grace and light and are called upon to bring His grace into the lives of others. Please pray for this year's class of Stephen Ministers who are nearing completion of their training. They will join 30 current Stephen Ministers who are serving the Ames Area Catholic Ste-phen Ministry. For information contact Anne Schmitt (515-291-8257) or Deacon Alan (515-231-8099).
