This tutorial is an investigation of the element of DYNAMICS* in Duato’s

Jardi Tancat.

In this tutorial you will describe how Duato uses dynamic elements in relation to variation and contrast and the overall form of the work.

* Dynamics has two main components: release of energy and weight or force. Dynamics is the interrelationship of force, the release of energy and time. How these factors are utilised produces a movement quality. Movement qualities can be described. Examples of words that would be used to describe quality are; nervous, tense, smooth, floating, sticky, prickly, heavy, grieving.
