JCSDG Overview

The Saudi Aramco Jeddah Camping Self-Directed Group (JCSDG) is one of the authorized groups of the company to make educational, recreational, cultural and social trips to the company's facilities and tourist sites in our beloved Kingdom for Jeddah employees and their families, in addition, to organizing the Hajj program for all Muslim company's employees and their families.

JCSDG has been preparing and coordinating the pilgrimage program for the employees of the company and their families for more than 19 years.

JCSDG is supported by Saudi Aramco through providing some supporting services, such as aviation services from the Eastern Province, catering, transportation, as well as supporting cultural and social programs.

Merits of Hajj in Sunnah Narrated Abu Huraira (Radia-Allahu ‘anhu): Allah’s Messenger (Salla-Allahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “An ‘Umrah is an expiation for sins committed between it and the next, but an accepted Hajj will receive no less reward than Paradise.” {Agreed upon}

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radia-Allahu ‘anhu): Allah’s Messenger (Salla-Allahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) was asked: “Which is the best deed?” He said: “To believe in Allah and His Messenger.” He was asked: “Which is the next (in goodness).” He said: “To participate in Jihad in Allah’s Cause.” He was then asked: “Which is the next?” He said: “To perform Hajj–Mabrur” {Bukhari & Muslim}

Aisha (the mother of the faithful believers) said: “O Allah’s Messenger! We consider Jihad as the best deed.” The Prophet (Salla-Allahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: “The best Jihad is Hajj Mabrur.” (Bukhari)

Disruption of the obligatory acts requires offering Fedyah.

The Aim: Hajj Mabrur

Hajj Mabrur is:

• Hajj which is free from sins, in full obedience to Allah.

• Performing it for Allah’s sake, with no hypocrisy (full sincerity).

• Performing the Pillars and obligatory acts of Hajj according to the Sunnah.

Preparation for Hajj

Kinds of Hajj

Tamattu’: • To perform ‘Umrah during the months of Hajj, then perform

• One has to offer a sacrifice (Hadiy)

Qiran: Enter the state of Ihraam with the intention of performing ‘Umrah and Hajj One has to offer a sacrifice (Hadiy)

7th of ThulHijjah

• Saudi Aramco flights passengers, In sha’a ALLAH Saudi Aramco flights will depart from Dammam on the 7th of ThulHijjah Tuesday Aug. 29, 2017 (You will receive the flight schedule by email and SMS). On arrival to Jeddah, buses will be ready for you to take you directly to Makkah.

• Pilgrims coming from Jeddah and other areas, program will starts on the 7th of ThulHijjah Tuesday Aug. 29, 2017 and the gathering will be in Jeddah (We will notify you of our gathering location by email and SMS)

Continue - 7th of ThulHijjah Tuesday Aug. 29, 2017

• The Hajjis will ride the designated buses and be ready to move to Makkah.

• Hajj Bracelet will be distributed, which will be used for camps entrance on Mina and Arafat and Muzdalifh.

• Bus Supervisor will collect the Hajj permits from Hajjis to present to the authorities when requested.

• Buses will leave directly to Makkah (Haram) to perform Tawaf / Omrah.

• Buses will be park in an area near to Haram, bus supervisor, will designate the assembly point and the time required to perform the Omrah.

• After completing the Tawaf / Omrah, all Hajjis will be gathered at the assembly point, ride their buses and then heading directly to the camp in Mina (Tower),

8th of ThulHijjah Wednesday Aug. 30, 2017

• Lectures about Hajj will be introduced by the Hamlah Shaikh in Mina.

• You need to get rest and prepare yourselves for the Big day Hajj (Arafat day) – Al-Hajj Arafah

• All transportation within the Mashaer (from Mina to Arafat, Muzdalifh and back to Mina) we will be using the train for all our traffic.

9th of ThulHijjah Thursday Aug. 31, 2017

• On the morning we will be heading to Arafat by Train . (time is in accordance with ministry of Hajj instructions)

• Soon after arrival set in the place provided, relax listen to Arafat Speech

• You should face the Qiblah and strive your utmost in remember-ing Allah, invoking Him and supplicating in every possible mode, whole heartedly.

• After sunset we will move to Muzdalifah by Train (time is in accordance with ministry of Hajj instructions)

• When you reach Muzdalifah you should immediately offer the prayers of Maghrib and Isha (Qasr) combined with a single Adhan and two Iqaamahs.

• Then you should go to sleep. • Pray Fajr in its earliest stated time. Collect the stone

10th of ThulHijjah Friday Sept. 01, 2017

• After Fajr prayer, you should stand facing the Qiblah and remember Allah, and offer supplications. Glorify Allah as much as possible till it becomes bright in the morning.

• Then you move towards Mina by Train, saying the Talbiyah.

• Directly to Jamrat Al Agabah (3rd Satan) to throw the stones & then back to our camp in Mina.

• Shave or shorten the hair.

• Take off Ihram and dress your best cloth (Eid day).

Continue - Tashreeq days (11, 12 and 13 of ThulHijjah)

• On each day, the pilgrim should cast pebbles all the three Jamarat.

• It should start with the first Jamarah which is situated near the tower. Seven pebbles should be hurled at it, one after another. After stoning, one should move forward a bit and make the Jamarah on the left side while facing the Qiblah and one should raise both hands and make as many/much supplications as possible. Like wise the second one should move forward a bit and make the Jamarah on the right side while facing the Qiblah and make as many/much supplications as possible the third one however, there will be no doa’a after stoning.

• Staying two days in Mina is permissible but extending them for the third is better.

Tashreeq days (11, 12 and 13 of ThulHijjah)

• The service provider (Tawfeej Co.) does not provide buses for Tawaf Al-Ifadah during the Tashreeq days (Traffic Department does not allow buses entering Mina during this period)

• On the 12th and 13th of the ThulHujjah, buses will depart directly to Haram after 01:00pm to enable the pilgrims to complete their remaining Hajj requirements (Tawaf/Saai) and then heading to Jeddah.

• The depart of the Saudi Aramco Special Hajj flights are scheduled on 13th of the ThulHujjah Monday Sept. 04, 2017 at 10:00 PM. Any changes will be communicated to you.
