Resident of the Month

Sharon Rux-Waldeck

Sharon loved horses and demonstrated a talent for

riding. She was known to adopt stray dogs, cats and

even an occasional raccoon! Sharon enjoyed classical

music, collected books and was an expert gardener.

She fed birds and could recognize most by both sight

and sound. Sharon saved turtles that were crossing the

road, because someone had to. Best of all, Sharon

loved to explore country roads with her Russian Wolf

Hound, Tara and share the locations with her husband

Lee.

Shining Star Award Michelle Holman

The JMC Shining Star for the month is Michelle

Holman DA. Michelle was chosen for her

exceptional kind and considerate demeanor with

our residents. She also works well with her kitchen

team and the care staff. Michelle comes to work

with a smile on her face and is always willing to do

extra projects when asked. Please Congratulate

Michelle on being an EXCELENT employee!

Administration Corner Fall is finally here!! We are so excited for the cooler weather and the changing leaves. This summer Hillary has been on maternity caring for her new baby boy. While she has enjoyed this time with her little one, she is eager to return to work in October. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our Resident Health Coordinators (Amanda, Marcie and Alex), our Registered Nurse Rachel., or our Customer Service Representative Rebekah. They are all more than willing to help you with whatever needs you may have in Hillary’s absence! The JMC Management Team

Notes from Dietary

Greetings from the dining services staff at Jefferson memory care.

We're all excited for the fall months, bringing cooler weather! We

will also be starting our fall menus and serving more fresh

vegetables as they come in season. We are here to do the best for

all our residents and their families. Enjoy the fall colors, the birds

and the food!

Environmental Services

JMC Environmental Services Coordinator, Dennis Wellnitz, has been busy keeping the building and courtyards, and would like to thank everyone who has helped keep up with all the weeding and watering. Dennis is also getting our building ready for fall by cleaning windows and carpets along with doing preventive maintenance on all the wall heating units. As always, please let Dennis or Maria know if they can be of assistance in any way.
