The Jetstream “Overseer” is an ideal broadacre boomspray for medium to large farms. A 2000 litre spherical shaped poly tank and an 18 metre boom configuration ensures both capacity and coverage.

With the option of either Jetstream’s unique ground drive metering system (GD) or hydraulic centrifugal pump with a TeeJet® 844E rate controller (RC), the Overseer is flexible to suit all needs.

The Overseer is fitted with tandem axle trailer suspension which gives excellent ride and durability. The Overseer booms are constructed of high quality steel and carry an unmatched 5 year structural warranty. Boom suspension and stability is enhanced by an effective cable and spring configuration.

The “Explorer” boomspray incorporates a 18 metre (or optional 21 metre) fully hydraulic lift and fold boom with a 3000 litre cylindrical chemical tank. An ideal broadacre boomspray for medium to large size farms the Explorer represents excellent value for money.

With the option of either Jetstream’s unique ground drive metering system (GD) or hydraulic centrifugal pump with a TeeJet® 844E rate controller (RC), the Explorer is flexible to suit all needs. Tandem axle trailer with leaf spring suspension is standard on all units giving excellent ride and durability. A single axle set at 2mtr centres with leaf spring suspension and 24” wheels is optional.

Booms are constructed of high quality steel and use a unique double acting spring loaded main boom hinge system to eliminate boom fatigue. In addition to this there is an end of boom breakaway. Boom suspension and stability is provided by independent dampened sprung suspension. Boom operation is fully hydraulic via tractor remote, giving an easy to operate sprayer with the safety and flexibility of hydraulic fold.

Available with either Jetstream’s unique ground drive metering system (GD) or hydraulic centrifugal pump with a TeeJet® 844E rate controller (RC), the Overlander is flexible to suit all needs.

Single axle with 38 x 18.4 wheel configuration and heavy duty leaf suspension gives excellent ride and stability.

Booms are constructed of high quality steel and use a unique double acting spring loaded main boom hinge system to eliminate boom fatigue. In addition to this there is an end of boom breakaway. Boom suspension and stability is provided by independent hydraulic accumulators. PORTABLE AUGERS

The Jetstream® range of Portable Auger’s are a simple and are mostly a maintenance free piece of equipment used to shift grain and other particles. Our range of Portable Auger’s can be used as vertical incline or horizontal screwed conveyors to move grain, feed or seed, often when a large mobile auger is either too fast or too expensive for the application. The standard Portable Auger comes with motor base (optional electric motor or hydraulic drive kit can be fitted) and a small securing stand to level the auger. An optional “A” frame with pneumatic tyres and height adjustment for easy manoeuvring is also available.

Simply set your target application rate and the unique VisiFlo display on the 844 helps select the right TeeJet® tip for the application. Nozzle selection is often based upon droplet size. The droplet size from a nozzle becomes very important when the efficacy of a particular plant protection chemical is dependent on coverage, or the prevention of spray leaving the target area is a priority.

The majority of the nozzles used in agriculture can be classified as producing droplets in the range of fine to ultra coarse droplets. Nozzles that produce droplets in the finer to middle portion of the range are usually recommended for post-emergence contact applications, which require excellent coverage on the intended target area. This may include herbicides, insecticides and fungicides. Nozzles producing droplets

from the middle to coarser end of the range, while offering less thorough surface coverage, provide significantly improved drift control. These nozzles are commonly used for systemic and pre-emergence surface applied herbicides.

An important point to remember when choosing a spray nozzle that produces a droplet size in one of the eight categories is that one nozzle can produce different droplet size classifications at different pressures. A nozzle might produce medium droplets at low pressures, while producing fine droplets as pressure is increased.

Droplet size classes are shown in the following tables to assist in choosing an appropriate spray tip.

Droplet size classifications are based on BCPC specifications and in accordance with ASABE Standard S572.1 at the date of printing. Classifications are subject to change.

Farmscan® Jackal Meter

The Jackal is a compact and robust monitor that adapts onto almost any machine. It is designed as a multifunctional monitor, capable of many simultaneous tasks.

The Jackal is capable of monitoring multiple functions simultaneously – e.g. In a 4 bin / tank Airseeder application a single Jackal can monitor and display several shafts, bin levels, air pressure and tine / plow depth.

There are a total of 12 inputs available which are combined with a single output for emergency shutdown, batching functions and speed proportional pulse outputs. The inputs can have both high and low alarm thresholds set, which can trigger emergency shutdown systems.

The unit employs a large daylight readable LCD to provide legible characters on the display and enable calibration data to be clear and descriptive.

There are multiple trip counters as well as an overall total allowing the operator to track numerous jobs in a period of work. The Jackal can be put ‘on hold’ by the operator or by a suitable signal from the machinery, so that periods of machine operation that should not accumulate as a work total can be excluded from trip totals.

The onboard calibration wizard makes setup a breeze! It’s simplified with the ability to enter either a factor (pulses per unit) or simply drive/run a set amount whilst the unit is counting the pulses and let the system calculate its own factor.

Day or night there’s no need to continually check the machine. The 1020 monitor warns you before major blockages end up costing you time and money! The result is much less downtime, faster seeding and complete peace of mind. Its patented Red Eye sensors are a proven performer with hundreds of systems in operation. It can pay for itself fast.

Fully sealed impact sensors equipped with bright red lights (LED’s) are bolted to each secondary distribution head. Sensors are then interconnected on a simple partyline cable that runs across the implement, avoiding the need for messy separate wires to each sensor.

As material flows, the sensor listens to the sound level according to sowing rates of seed and fertiliser, all the operator adjusts is the sensitivity control until the cab warning light remains just off – simple as that. A drop in flowrate or blockage at any secondary head will activate the LED at the sensor causing the cab alarm and warning light to activate.

By switching to Hold, the operator can freeze the system and a quick inspection of all sensors will immediately pinpoint the problem. The 1020 assists in picking many other problems with airseeders such as fan too slow or not engaged, disconnected and blocked primary hoses, lids not properly shut, empty bins, broken drives etc.

Optional Low Bin Sensors are available for connection on the party line system to give early warning on low bin levels.

Baler Moisture Tester Plus

Proper moisture levels during baling is essential to produce better quality hay and reduce economic losses. Baling hay at the correct moisture levels reduces mould development, and helps to preserve the colour and feed value of hay.

The new 2178 has advanced multi-sensor technology for greater overall accuracy while baling hay with square or round balers. The 2178 mounts in the cab of the tractor and provides a direct readout for % moisture while baling hay. Having multiple moisture content readings during each step of the haymaking process is critical to finishing with a high quality product.

TERMS & CONDITIONS1. PricesAll recommended retail prices listed are inclusive of GST. Unless otherwise stated all prices quoted are exclusive of freight delivery cost, insurance and other charges in relation to the transfer of the product from the premises of Australian Agricultural Machinery to the location designated by the customer all of which charges shall be payable by the customer. The prices contained herein are recommended only, and there is no obligation to comply with the recommendations. Unless otherwise agreed in writing Australian Agricultural Machinery reserves the right to vary all prices without notification.

2. RiskRisk in the products shall pass to the customer upon the product being allocated to this agreement (“Allocation”) by Australian Agricultural Machinery. All transit/carriage of the product after allocation shall be at the customers risk whether from Australian Agricultural Machinery Pty Ltd to the customer or the supplier to Australian Agricultural Machinery or the supplier to the customer and whether such transit/carriage is arranged by Australian Agricultural Machinery the supplier or the customer.

4. PaymentUnless express agreement in writing is otherwise made the price shall be paid by the customer in cash, Direct Bank Deposit or by cheque upon the earlier of – a) Delivery/collection of the product, or b) Seven days after the risk in the product has passed to the customer which date is hereinafter called the “Payment Date” c) Thirty days after the risk in the product has passed to the customer which date is hereinafter called the “Payment Date”

It is the acknowledged any failure or delay by the customer in making payment will result in financial loss to Australian Agricultural Machinery and in that case Australian Agricultural Machinery reserves the right to recover from the customer a default charge in addition to the price, such charge to be calculated on a daily basis at the rate of 18% per annum upon the outstanding balance of the price and to be payable by way of liquidated damages for breach of contract and not by way of penalty.

5. Title TransferNot withstanding that the risk in the product may have passed to the customer, the title shall remain with Australian Agricultural Machinery until payment has been received in full, in the event of the customer obtaining possession of the product prior to making payment in full he shall; a) Store the product separately from the property of any other person. b) At all times ensure that the product is marked in some manner that will enable it to be identified as the property of Australian Agricultural Machinery. c) Not purport to mortgage chare transfer convey or otherwise deal with the products without the prior consent of Australian Agricultural Machinery, and d) At all times allow Australian Agricultural Machinery access to the product to inspect the same and to retake possession at its discretion.

6. Credit a) No product may be returned to Australian Agricultural Machinery nor credit allowed for such return without the prior approval of Australian Agricultural Machinery. b) The customer is responsible for immediate examination of the product upon delivery. All shortages, damages or error claims must be made within 7 days of receiving parts. c) The Company reserves the right to decline credit for partial returns. d) Product wrongly ordered by the customer and accepted for credit return by Australian Agricultural Machinery may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. e) No special order merchandise can be returned. This includes any standard parts cut or altered to special order. f) If merchandise is returned by commercial carrier, freight must be pre-paid, except where the Company originally shipped incorrectly and has authorised the return.

7. LiabilityAustralian Agricultural Machinery shall not be responsible for damage or fault in performance arising out of incorrect or inappropriate operation of the product by the customer. The customer acknowledges that Australian Agricultural Machinery gives no warranty as to fitness of the product for the intended application of the customer and that the customer has relied entirely upon his or her own evaluation.

Except as expressly provided to the contrary in this agreement, all terms, conditions, warranties, undertakings, inducements or representations whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise relating in any way to the product are excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Australian Agricultural Machinery is hereby excused from all liability or any form of loss or damages whether incidental, special, consequential, general or otherwise (including loss of profit and revenue and not withstanding that Australian Agricultural Machinery may have been advised of such potential loss or damage) arising out of any breach by or fault on the part of Australian Agricultural Machinery under or in connection with the supply of the product any defect or alleged defect in the product or any negligent act or omission breach of contract or howsoever.

To the extent that the product or any component part thereof is supplied to Australian Agricultural Machinery by a third party the warranty offered by Australian Agricultural Machinery in relation to the product or the component part thereof (as applicable) shall be limited to Australian Agricultural Machinery’s right of redress if any against the third party supplier arising out of any alleged fault/defect in the product or component part thereof.

The terms and conditions in this agreement that purport to exclude or limit Australian Agricultural Machinery’s liability shall apply to the extent permitted by Law. Provisions of the Trade Practices Act 1974 (as amended) and other statutes from time to time in force in Australia may imply warranties or conditions or impose obligation upon Australian Agricultural Machinery that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent. If any such statutory provisions apply then, to the extent to which Australian Agricultural Machinery is entitled thereunder to do so, its liability under those statutory provisions shall be limited at the option of Australian Agricultural Machinery to any one or more of the following; a) If the breach relates to goods; i. The replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; ii. The repair of such goods; iii. The payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; or iv. The payment of the cost of having the goods repaired; and

b) If the breach relates to services i. The supplying of the services again; or ii. The payment of the cost of having the services supplied again. iii. The customer warrants that if has not relied on any representation made by Australian Agricultural Machinery, which has not been stated expressly in this agreement or upon any descriptions or illustrations or specification contained in any document including any catalogues or publicity material supplied by Australian Agricultural Machinery.

8. WarrantyAustralian Agricultural Machinery Pty Ltd hereby warrants the products manufactured by it and every major part thereof. The warranty commences on the date of the original retail purchase and continues for the benefit of the original retail purchaser for a period of twelve months thereafter unless otherwise stated. If within the warranty period a defect appears in any part of any products manufactured by the Company and any such part should be found in the reasonable judgement of the Company to be defective in material or workmanship then such part will be replaced or repaired at no charge.

The defective part must be returned to the Company at the original retail purchasers expense within the warranty period, duly tagged to show the name and address of the original purchaser, date of purchase, name of vendor, description, model number and serial number of the product where applicable and accompanied by proof of purchase.

This warranty does not cover (a) The cost of labour or replacement of defective parts at the installation site. (b) Products, which have been subject to misuse, neglect, alteration, accident or improper construction or installation or maintenance. (c) Replacement necessitated by normal wear and tear.

To the extent that the law permits or allows it to exclude or limits its liability the Company under the warranty accepts no responsibility for loss of the use of the product, loss of time, inconvenience, loss of production, demurrage or any other damage consequential or otherwise. The Company reserves the right to make changes or improvements in its products at any time without assuming any obligation to modify any product previously manufactured. Products manufactured or supplied by other companies, are subjected to their warranty conditions.
