Miscellaneous Window Fittings

Functions

The Ventus system allows the sash to tilt inwards with an opening width of 200 mm and provides

good ventilation with high air exchange rates.

Cleaning position

The opening stay arm can be easily disconnected from the sash for cleaning the outside

window face. The rebate stays hold the sash horizontal. This means that cleaning is no longer a

problem. Moreover, the rebate stays increase safety by preventing the sash from being closed

if the opener arms are not properly secured after the windows have been cleaned.

Features and Advantages

The compact fan-light opener VENTUS F 200 being face fixed is quickly and easily installed,

ensuring economic production.

This sturdy opener stay arm with forced closing guarantees secure locking and a tight seal. The

large opening width provides high air exchange values.

Matched stay arm, cover profile and lever handle present a clean, modern style.

Lever Handle

The Lever Handle has a 70mm stroke suitable for sash heights from 350mm using rod or angle

bell transmissions. A pivoted lever handle for fitting into recesses supplements the standard

range.

Door TypesTimber doors for interior applications can be either solid or glazed. Metal doors can be of angle or box section. Aluminium is dependant on extrusion profile.

ApplicationsPacer Endfold offers both two-wheeled and four wheeled hangers to cover a wide range of residential and commercial applications. Leaves can be hung to the left or the right of an opening, or hung as floating units. In applications using the four-wheeled hanger with an even number of leaves folding left and right meeting in the centre of the opening, an offset hanger is required.

ApplicationsCoRoll 100 is an external bottom roller sliding window and door hardware system for maximum panel weights up to 100 kilograms. CoRoll 100 is ideally suited for large sliding windows or patio sliding doors with timber framed glazed panels of up to 2.4 metres high and 1.8 metres wide. CoRoll 100 can be used in both residential and commercial applications where any number of doors can be used on single or multiple lines of rail that can slide to one or both sides of the opening.

AdjustmentCoRoll 100 features the SFG135/SFG115 self levelling double bogie rollers with Acetyl Nylon outer tyres with precision bearings for quiet, smooth operation. The plated steel case includes a side adjustment screw located at a convenient height to accommodate 23mm rebate stops used on timber joinery for ease of access. Installation Notes

Coastal Weatherfold is engineered for the way we live, suitable for use on door panels of equal size. The series has four dedicated door hardware systems, suitable for aluminium and timber doors weighing up to 75kg. Coastal Weatherfold is a total solution approach for folding door applications with up to 8 panels folding in each direction. This new concealed tilt & turn system is designed for open in windows giving the benefit of tilting which allows good air flow and then turn which allows the window to be cleaned from inside and also creates a good fire escape. This system will allow a sash up to 1400mm wide and 2300mm high which will cover almost every application.

The gearing which will carry up to a 100kg sash is made from a high grade steel zink Bichromate to comply with the highest grade 4 corrosion resistance requirement of BS EN1670 European standard. We also recommend the aluminium water bar which strengthens the seal and also gives drainage for any water ingress.

which are all too prevalent with traditional timber French Doors but at the

same time have been able to address the security challenges related to

PAS23/24 Security testing.

ML25 Locking System for rebated Doors. A traditional design rebated french

door incorporating a 45mm backset lock mechanism on both the master and

slave doors. The hook locking points lock directly into the opposing slave door

lock as does the central deadbolt and latch. This arrangement is ideally suited

for door leaves up to 56mm thick.

The butt hinge fits in to the machined groove where it’s lift off action provides ease of installation, fitting of seals and finishing

This sill detail is only applicable when using friction type hinges

When producing a pair of sashes, only top and bottom shoot bolts are require, allowing both windows to be operated by a handle and removing the need for a finger bolt in the slave sash. The espagnolette hook needs to be removed for this set up.

Spiral BalanceThese are light duty, economic, general purpose balances for Domestic or commercial applications. They are manufactured in 3 Weight groups suitable for sashes having glazed weights of up to 18.15kgs (40lbs) and servery hatches up to 6.8kgs (15lbs). Al ‘D’ type balances are adjustable within their weight range to suit actual glazed sash weights. A special adjustment tool is available. Where maximum assisted lift is required it is advisable to use ‘F’ type balances when sash weights exceed 17kgs (37.5lbs). Screwdriver/allen key adjustment available on request.

These balances incorporate a mechanical feature which, using a screwdriver or allen key, allows for fine adjustment to be made “on-site” if required. They are particularly recommended for retirement homes, hospitals or nursing homes as the dual action of the torsion and tension springs work to give an assisted lift thus making the operation easier even with heavier installations.
