I chose this picture because I got the full body image in which would be able to fill my front cover of my magazine. The models pose is very casual and also, she is smiling and looking directly at the camera. This is direct address, and by her doing this and her smiling makes it makes her look as if she is smiling at whoever is looking at the front cover, giving a positive atmosphere of the magazine. Although pose is casual, I do feel it looks a bit too posed and not natural so I wouldn’t put this as my front cover.

I would consider this photo to be on the front cover of my magazine because it is a nice clear image. The outfit the model is wearing is a casual outfit, and it makes her look very girly and look very friendly. Also the colour of the background makes the models hair stand out and be seen as she is ginger, so the colour looks very bright against the background, and also makes the audience look directly to the face of the model and feel like the model is smiling at the audience.

This image would be good on the front of a magazine because of the colours all go together and how the lighting make the ginger hair stand out on the page and go well together with the colour of the background. The models outfit is very girly, and colourful and on the front cover of the image would be a very positive image for the front of a magazine as she is smiling and laughing with her hand covering her face to try and make herself look cute and not laugh. I think this would look good on the cover of my magazine as it is a friendly and positive image and would make the audience see that the magazine is positive and that any teenager would be welcome to read it. However I would crop the background out of the image and put it on a different background because I think the red would be a bit too much for the cover of a magazine.

This image is very bright and colourful which would look good on the front cover of a magazine. The bright colours of the image make the model stand out and would also make the magazine stand out to the audience being big and bold on the shelf and make them want to buy it. The image does however look like a forced pose and therefore I wouldn’t think about using this image I would use an image with a more natural pose in.

I would consider this image to go as my front cover because it is a full body image and it a very friendly and positive image with the way the model is standing and smiling into the camera. If I was to use this image I would crop it out of the background and put it onto a different layer, also the shadow on the back of the white screen ruins the image so I would have to cut the shadow out of the pictures as well.

I have chose this image to be my front cover, but I will be cutting the model out of the background so the hair looks brighter without the contrast of the background and so that the image isn’t too bright on the cover. I chose it because the image is very girly and casual like the theme of this particular magazine cover and also it is a very natural pose and looks like an action shot of her laughing but trying to hide it and look cute. It would look good on the front of my cover because it is a very positive and friendly image and would make people feel happy and want to read it from the smiley, happy face which you can find on the front cover. This image looks better than the rest of the images because it has the most natural pose and is the most inviting image to present the magazine a happy and inviting image to want to buy the magazine.
