July 7-10 Young Players Early Stages
The Young Players will present Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr., July 7-10, at the Royal Theatre in
historic Downtown Benton. The show is directed by D. Brent Miller with music direction by Jo
Murry and choreography by Jenny Johnston. Filled with fun flappers, dashing leading men and a
villainess audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly Modern Millie JR., is a clever adaptation of
the six-time-Tony-Award-winning Best Musical and the Academy Award-winning

dancing the Charleston!

Other Notes
We recently went through our 20th anniversary season (2014
-15) as you know. During that time, Lisa and Jasmine got
some of our members to talk about the early days and made
a wonderful DVD. We started looking for early documents.
We want to gather as much important information as we can
in a central location. Some of the documents are scans that
have gotten “dirty” with repeated copying. If any of you have
something in your attic or storage shed that you think we
might want, please let us know. As one charter member said,
“Who ever thought we’d still be around?”
