Human Resources is embracing technology and functioning at full capacity. The on-campus HR Office is staffed, but visitors must have an appointment. You can call HR at 825-2630 or reach out to a specific HR Team member based on your need. If you call and we are unable to answer, please leave a message, and we will return the call as quickly as possible. Should it be determined that a face to face meeting is necessary, we will be glad to arrange, practicing social distancing, of course. We also have several email boxes: [email protected] for benefit and leave and [email protected] for staffing and compensation. For general questions email [email protected]. And please visit the Human Resources website for more information and links to other resources. COVID-19 Reporting and Contact Tracing NEW!!! The University has established a centralized process to track COVID-19 reports and conduct contact tracing. As soon as an employee or manager becomes aware of a reportable incident, they should complete a COVID-19 Report form. The following are the types of incidents that should be reported: positive test for COVID-19, close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes) with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, advised by a health official to self- isolate, and/or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. All employees working on campus should go to the HR Return to the Workplace web page and download the Contact Log. Daily, any employee working on campus should record all close contacts (within 6 feet for 15 minutes) with others on the log. Managers should be able to access the log in the event it is needed and the employee is not available.

Compensation Empty costs centers are no longer allowed when the Assign Costing

Allocation process is initiated as a sub process. A new academic pay period has been created- 10.5 Months (July 15 - May 31).

Request Absence: A Single Processto Request Employee Absences

Workday has improved functionality that allows Request Absence to provide a more efficient approach for an Employee to request Time Off or a Leave of Absence. Employees can now request both a Time Off and a Leave of Absence in one singular process. Multiple types of Time Off, varying hours on different days are now possible without having to do multiple requests. Join us to learn more about the Request Absence business process and how you can share with your Employees this efficient method for requesting time out of the office.
