FALL 2019
What is the Jumpstart Concurrent Enrollment Program
The Jumpstart Program offers local Junior and Senior highschool students college-credit classes, concurrently while theyattend their high school classes, at their high school. Thecollege classes are taught by CSN approved high schoolteachers, offered for a fraction of the traditional collegetuition.
CSN approved textbooks are required for each course. Theordering and purchase of these textbooks are the soleresponsibility of the participating high school.

Cost of the Jumpstart College Courses

Jumpstart classes are restricted to Jumpstart students ONLY, enabling the Jumpstart students to work together on a college-bound pace.
Student Registration and PaymentDue to the Jumpstart Office by: August 30
-Students pay the high school Banker-Students are registered by CSN-CSN uses class rosters to register students-Submit the authorization form to Jumpstart
Course Withdrawal and Grades-ONLY Students can withdraw from class after Aug 30-Students can withdraw with a “W” by Sept 8, 2019-Students must receive a grade if they remain on the roster after Oct 27, 2019
College and Career Readiness Grant (CCR) 2019-2020
CCR: Student tuition assistance for TWO (2) dual/concurrent classes for students who meet ONE or MORE criteria: ! Family’s income is at/below 185 % of the poverty level;! Students who identify under the Federal Free, Reduced-Price, Low
Income & Reduced Lunch Program;! Students who receive assistance under Part A of Title IV of the Social

Faculty Stipend -$200 CSN PLUS $220 CCSD per class, per semester-Extra Time Sheets due for CCSD’s stipend
