The cameras – a variety of box, integrated lens, mini-dome, outdoor dome and integrated housing models – feature JVC’s Super LoLux HD2™ technology to match the sensitivity of our well established CCD models, plus smart image processing that

compensates for back lighting and digitally removes ambient fog, haze or smoke for the clearest picture.

Newly-developed Direct Drive motor mechanisms on JVC’s PTZ domes offer precise and highly responsive movement, enabling perfect control of mechanism speeds even at high magnification. Meanwhile, new LoLux HD infra red cameras have been developed to meet low light application requirements, combining high resolution and integrated IR technology at an excellent price/performance ratio.

Based on the powerful Super LoLux HD hardware platform with VMS software, they offer high performance network video recording for up to 64 JVC IP cameras. New Super LoLux HD2 and LoLux HD camerasSuper LoLux HD2 cameras combine high performance DSP with CMOS sensors that output full HD 1080p resolution and offer multi-codec support, including MJPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264 High Profile. They deliver superior colour reproduction, and include advanced backlight compensation which improves images under difficult lighting conditions. Other features include auto back focus, on-board recording to SD card, motion detection, network failure detection, privacy mask and a variety of built-in video analytics features, including active tampering detection and audio detect.

The cameras support the latest ONVIF and PSIA standards, as well as a wide variety of leading video management software (VMS) platforms. And, as you’d expect from JVC, camera build quality is second to none, with published MTBF (mean time between failure) figures demonstrating their reliability. Meanwhile, the LoLux HD cameras offer a 1080P CMOS sensor, SD card recording, ONVIF support, 3D DNR, motion detection, WDR, alarm and audio support.

New Direct Drive PTZ dome camerasJVC Professional’s Super LoLux HD PTZ 1080p dome cameras deliver high-resolution images with exceptional colour reproduction, ideal for use as part of a complete IP surveillance installation. Newly-developed maintenance-free Direct Drive motor mechanisms offer precise, quiet and highly responsive pan/tilt movement, enabling perfect control of mechanism speeds even at high magnification. They allow super fast movements of 500° per second, accurate to 0.03°, and have an MTBF of 49,000 hours, enough for up to 2 million zoom, 5 million pan/tilt and 4 million focus operations. The cameras feature an 18x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, operate via PoE for simple installation with low power consumption, and are IK10 vandal resistant (IP66 standard). In addition, when used with a USB joystick, there’s less than 50ms command response, so you won’t miss a thing.

New Super WDR cameraThe new JVC Super WDR analogue camera offers an excellent solution for optimising image quality in difficult back-lit areas, such as entranceways. It uses ‘Pixstar’ technology, based on a multi-shutter Super WDR CMOS sensor, and benefits from JVC’s superior 17-bit DSP technology and 120dB signal to noise ratio.
