    1 Browser Information The following Browsers are supported by SharePoint 2016: For example: Internet Explorer 10 & 11; Google Chrome; Microsoft Edge; Find the full List here: Supported Browsers NOTE

    Microsoft Edge doesn't currently support some operations, like drag-and-drop editing, but it will work soon. Also

    note that other SharePoint functionality that relies on NPAPI or ActiveX will not work on Microsoft Edge. > You

    can work around each of these issues by using Internet Explorer to perform these tasks. Only for external devices:

    The following items need to be set-up in your browser settings “trusted sites”.

    Add the following items into your “trusted sites” settings.

    > *.kapsch.net > *.kapschbusiness.com > *.kapschpublictransport.com > *.kapschtraffic.com > *.kapschcarrier.com To make this change: Internet Explorer

    > >

    Call the Internet Options in the tab “Tools” Click on the tab “Security”, select “Trusted Sites”

    > Click on “Sites” to define the Trusted Sites

    2 KIBSI Logon To logon to a KIBSI-SharePoint with a device not managed by Kapsch central IT, please follow these steps:

    > Click on the SharePoint link provided by a Kapsch employee – a login page should appear (see below)

    > Click into the User name field and type in your login data – for example: [email protected] > Click into the Password field and type in your Password – after you entered your login data click on Log On

    > If your Password expired – type in your old password and choose a new one (you have to enter the new one twice) - then click on OK

    If you have login issues – please check the following points:

    > there should be no space between Username and domain name (for example: username@ domain.net) > please check your password again, check if you have CAPS activated > please check if you use one of the supported Browsers, please always ensure to use latest Browser versions > if you still can’t log in – please contact your Kapsch contact person

    3 Additional help

    If you are still having problems in reaching an area (time-out) or you are having bad performance, the following steps

    might help if you are using a supported Browser:

    For example (Internet Explorer 10):

    1: Restart your Browser

    > if you still have issues after the restart - please try the next steps 2: Restore Advanced settings:

    > > >

    Call the internet options in the tab “Tools” Click on tab “Advanced” Click on “restore advanced settings”

    3: Reset settings:

    > > >

    Call the internet options in the tab “Tools” Click on tab “Advanced” First try => Click on “reset” without checking “delete personal settings”

    o External devices: you now have to set-up the “trusted sites” as described in section 2 above. > If this does not help, try => Click on “reset” with checking “delete personal settings” and follow the steps described

    above for External devices or Kapsch IT managed devices.

    4: Restart your PC

    > if this step does not help please inform your Kapsch contact person about this issue
