KERF CABINETS

Our cabinets are truly custom; every cabinet is built to order in whatever size is needed for the project. You can

choose between maple and walnut veneered plywood for the basic cabinet construction. You can further

personalize your design with any combination of our 16 stock laminate colors. Finally, if you need a cabinet that

you don't see in our catalog, ask us and we will design something just for you.

We believe that our cabinets are the best built option on the market today. We use a high quality hardwood

veneer core plywood and our cases are assembeld using a unique intricate combination of dado and mortice and

tenon joinery. We use top of the line Blum hardware in our door and drawers, which open and close quietly and

smoothly.

Our DIY cabinets are built exactly the same as our shop built cabinets but they are packed flat in a crate and

shipped directly to you. All of the necessary hardware and screws are included in your kit. All you need is a screw

gun and some glue to build our DIY cabinets on-site. You complete the project by applying two coats of finish

(provided) on the edges of the plywood after the installation is complete (the faces of the plywood are pre-

finished).

In this catalog weve provided the basic building blocks for a Kerf kitchen. Weve separated our cabinets into

different categories: lower cabinets, upper cabinets and pantry combinations. Pricing is broken down between DIY

and shop built cabinets and whether you choose stainless steel or gray finished drawer hardware. We have listed

prices for each combination within a range of widths that are available for each cabinet. There are also 16

different colors of laminate that can be added to almost any spot and in any combination that you choose.

LOWER CABINETS

DIMENSIONS

All lower cabinets are 24 deep and 34.5 tall. When a 1.5 thick countertop is applied, lower cabinets will be 36 in

overall height. We can change the height of the cabinet if you wish to have a different thickness for your

countertop at no extra charge.

LAMINATE

Colored laminate may be added to any door, drawer front or open cubby for the cost of $6/square foot.

MERGING

Lower cabinets can be merged together to create one larger cabinet, thereby eliminating the need for two panels

PANTRY COMBINATIONS

DIMENSIONS

All pantry combinations are 24 deep and 90 tall.

CHOOSING A PANTRY COMBINATION

To make a pantry cabinet, choose a base (located in the lower cabinet section of this catalog), middle, and top.

Your three choices will then be merged together to create one 90 tall pantry cabinet. 70 tall oven cabinets are

also available combine oven cabinets with a to cabinet to make a com lete antr combination.

Top-sections may be ordered separately for installation above a refrigerator. If you wish, you can order refrigerator

VANITIES

DIMENSIONS

All vanities are 22" deep. Standard measurements are specified in the following cabinets. However, we can

customize each vanity to fit your specific requirements.

WALL-MOUNTED VANITIES

Backs of wall-mounted vanities are 3/4" thick and securely engineered into the vanity. To hang the vanity, screw

directly through the back of the cabinet and into the wall.

ORDERING

ORDERSOrders can be initiated by telephone, fax, or email. Please include a list of cabinets that you have chosen, the

type of plywood, the type of hardware, the width of each piece, and your estimated laminate cost. A floor plan

and/or photos of the space is also very helpful. After we receive your order we will send you a laminate and

veneer sample kit to help you specify colors and finishes. Next we will work with you to create a 3D rendering of

your project. Once your plan is worked out and you have signed off on the drawings it takes about 4-6 weeks to

produce your DIY cabinet kit.

TERMS

We ask for a 10% deposit based on the initial estimate for your project before we begin work on your design.During the design process it is possible for the price of the job to change. We will keep you informed of any

changes that will have a significant impact on the price. Once a final design is reached we require a 40%

payment to begin construction, and a second 40% payment when we are ready to ship your project. The final

balance, about 10%, is due when you have assembled the cabinets and are satisfied with the result. We accept

personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express.

SHIPPING

We crate your project and ship via freight. Typical transit time is 3-5 days. Deliveries are curbside unless other

arrangements are made prior to delivery. If you require any additional services (inside delivery, unpacking and

disposal of the crates, etc.) please let us know before we ship and we will make the arrangements.
