The Sidekick has a single counter-lung with the scrubber canister located inside the counter-lung. This provides an extremely versatile unit.

The Sidekick is well-suited for cold-water diving. With the scrubber canister located inside the counter-lung, the scrubber stays warmer and the heat generated by the chemical reaction helps keep the diver warmer.

Sidekick vs.Sidewinder

Both the Sidekick and Sidewinder are simple, reliable, mechanically

controlled rebreathers. Like all KISS rebreathers they use the well proven KISS MAV technology. This consists of

a constant oxygen flow through an orifice supplemented by a manual

add button. The diver monitors and controls the oxygen levels.
