  • In RE weLook at the importance of time & festivals in religions.Look at statistics & what they tell us about religious believers.Put events in the order that they happened (chronological order).Think about things that happened a long time ago - & consider the impact that they still have on peoples lives today.

  • In RE weAsk questions (often the big questions in life).Communicate ideas & opinions our own & other peoples.Express our own beliefs & consider the beliefs of other people.Communicate with other people in the class sharing our knowledge.Read & write in many different ways.Think about & reflect upon things that happen to people trying to think about them from their point of view.

  • In RE weDo internet research.Use computers to share, present & communicate information often using PowerPoint & Word.Use ICT to improve the quality, presentation & impact of the work that we do.Watch & comment on film clips.Deliver presentations to the rest of the class using PowerPoint.

  • In RE weComplete lots of problem solving tasks where we have to work individually or as part of a small group.Take part in games where we have to imagine we are other people & think about what life is like for them. We also solve mysteries where we have to work out what happened to somebody.RE will also help with problem solving in future life, as in lessons we look at issues that everybody faces in life that may be difficult to deal with.

  • In RE weComplete lots of activities in pairs or in small groups where we have to work co-operatively with each other, sharing ideas, discussing ideas & learning from each other.Have whole class discussions where we all have the chance to share our views, but where we also have to listen to each other.

  • In RE weHave level trackers in the front of our books so that we can see exactly what level & what part of that level we are working at.With our level trackers we can also see what are targets are & they help us to understand what we have to do to be able to improve.Often complete evaluation tasks after project & small group work, so that we can consider the work we have completed & the things that we need to do in the future to improve.
