KHRA Sponsors SHRM Certification Course (PHR/SPHR) - $750 Class will meet on Wednesdays March 7 - May 23, 2012 6:00 – 8:45 p.m. In response to KHRA members’ strong interest in PHR/SPHR Certification Preparation Training, KHRA is sponsoring a local training opportunity. Cost and location for instructor-led training has been an issue for members in the past since costs typically range from approximately $1000 - $1750 for comparable training while traveling an hour or more to the training site. Therefore, KHRA is offering members the SHRM Learning System (#1 PHR/SPHR certification preparation program) with instructor-led learning in Warsaw at a more affordable investment. Course Information: The SHRM Learning System offers the most up-to-date HR content aligned with the HR Certification Institute Body of Knowledge. The SHRM Learning System consistently beats the national pass rate and has helped more than 30,000 HR professionals earn their PHR® or SPHR® certification. The SHRM Learning System content is updated annually. Participant modules include: Module 1: Strategic Business Management Module 2: Workforce Planning and Employment Module 3: Human Resource Development Module 4: Total Rewards Module 5: Employee and Labor Relations Module 6: Risk Management Participant’s Cost: $750 includes materials and instructor-led learning. Instructors: All instructors have at least 20 years of experience in the management of human resources. Other senior HR leaders will also participate in the training for this program.
