With winter and Christmas approaching, students will be writing Christmas letters to Santa. We will begin this lesson with reading A Letter to Santa and following with a discussion on the story. Students will need to write in complete sentences and demonstrate the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation and spelling when writing.
