Dear Teacher, Thank you for investing your time in the spiritual knowledge and commitment of these children. They have been entrusted to your care and we are grateful for the seriousness with which you treat this responsibility. Follow these instructions as you go through the books for the Kings Kids Club program: 1. The top of each lesson contains the teaching section where you will spend a few

moments with the child interacting with them and the content. There are symbols which will help guide you and the student through the material. Refer to the symbol next to each section to direct the student as to how they should treat that section. The following is a key to describe each type of section:

MEMORIZE - Sections with this symbol in the margin should be committed to memory. The teacher is to use their own discernment when determining the quality of recitation. Base your judgment on age and known ability. Encourage them and provide different methods of memorization. There is enough review built in that a child will encounter the truths again if he didn’t get it word-perfect the first time.

TEACH - In sections with this sign in the margin, spend time teaching the child the truths explained. No memorization or recitation is necessary here. It’s a great place for discussion. Let them ask questions or make comments about the information in the section.

STUDY - Sections with this symbol in the margin need to be studied by the student on their own. The teacher then quizzes them on that section’s information. Look for a grasp of knowledge, not word-perfect memorization. Teacher may sign off the section when the child demonstrates sufficient knowledge of the subject.

DO - In sections with this symbol in the margin, the student will spend his classtime completing the activity described. Teachers may sign off on these sections when the activity is complete.

2. As the child completes each part of the lesson, the teacher should initial the symbol next to the section to show that the student has completed it. This way if a student is in the middle of a lesson when the classtime ends, any teacher will be able to know exactly where they begin the next classtime.

3. When the child has completed all parts of the lesson, initial the ribbon on the top right corner of the page. Allow them to continue.

4. When they have completed all the goal cards for a section and earned a button, send them to see the Kings Kids Secretary to record their progress.

Review the example lesson on the next page. Seek the Lord’s help for wisdom and patience as you plant the seed of God’s Word in the fertile soil of these children’s hearts.

Why did Jesus have to die? In the Old Testament, people sacrificed (killed) young animals on God’s altar to show them the punishment for their sins. Jesus Christ became our sacrifice. It is His blood that will wash away our sin and make our hearts clean. He will forgive us of our sins because Jesus died for us. We must ask Him and receive the free gift of salvation.

Verse “...the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7

Learn about how we received the Bible we have today. Who wrote all the books of the Bible? God used special holy men to write each book. How did they know what to write? The Holy Spirit told each man each word to write down. The men obeyed and did not write any of their own words. Did God use men to write any other books with His words in them? No. Only the books of the Bible belong to God. Your King James Bible has God’s words in it.
