Served as a logistics and security team member in support for the Russian Federal Security Service VIP visit to Pacific Area. Organized and executed the inaugural visit of the Russian Regional Border Guard, Northeast Boarder Guard and Sakhalin Border Guard directorates. Twenty-six members from the United States and Russia developed and implemented bilateral operational processes on a theater and regional level. Primary topic discussed was “The race for oil in the Arctic”.
Led the staff and school to receiving the Award of Excellence from the International Society of Performance Improvement at the 43rd annual conference.
Managed all details of the creation, platform, curriculum, and training qualifications of the simulated Global Maritime Distress and Safety and Rescue-21 Telecommunications systems.
Volunteered as a fire fighter for 8 years and responded to over 500 medical and fire situations saving in excess of 10 million dollars in property and approximately 50 lives.
Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert for the Coast Guards Eastern and Gulf Coasts fleet (34 ships). Developed instructional material and trained in excess of 150 personnel in this position.
Provided logistical support services when the Transportable Contingency Communications platform deployed to New York Harbor after the World Trade Center was destroyed on September 11, 2001.
Deployed to reestablish communications using a Transportable Contingency Communications platform to provide short range telecommunications assets for Group New Orleans. This enabled them to maintain a complete telecommunications picture with losses in the coastal communications spectrum.
Managed the overall policy and procedural situations for the Coast Guard and the Eastern Great Lakes Area regarding Search and Rescue, Environmental, Port Security, Aids to Navigation, Inspections, Law Enforcement.
Developed and implemented the Command Duty Officer training and qualification program. Developed new processes to maintain personnel security while traveling to foreign countries. Created and managed the Awards and Recognition Board for a workforce of roughly 500 personnel. Implemented Physical and Communications Security related functions and provided security related
